I was in camp #7, larger, more private, further from the bathrooms but nobody driving by, and close, very close, to the river. Riverfront Park is a stones throw from lively Talkeetna. The campground is clean, always full, first come, first serve. If you want a good nights rest, bring your earplugs ~Durning the summer there is music and bonfires done by the river. I appreciated the recycling bins, trash pick up daily and clean bathrooms with flush toilets, no showers tho. My dog was welcomed as well.

Read moreStumbled on this place while walking around in Talkeetna. Walked down Belle's Interpretive Trail, along the Talkeetna River, around the cabins, and around the park. It was a cloudy day, so was unable to see Denali from the lookout point.
The Interpretive Trail was very informative and educational as there were many signs along the tour. I had no idea about Belle MacDonald and her impact on Talkeetna.
