Cute gift shop offering a wide array of souvenirs: clothes, prints, stickers, stuffed animals, etc. Stopped by on a dreadfully rainy day and made the most of the weather by stopping in most of the shops and galleries in downtown Talkeetna. Purchased a super cute and comfy Alaska sweatshirt that had a vintage vibe. No issues with the staff, they seemed nice enough to me!

Side note: To those expecting to see Denali in all its glory, the weather is very unpredictable, especially given its elevation. My weather app showed slightly cloudy so I was already very doubtful due to its sheer size. The rain seemed to come out of nowhere and got heavier and heavier the further north we drove. I would 100% recommend visiting Talkeetna whether the weather is favorable or not. Also, there are a million other beautiful places to visit, hike and explore between Denali and Seward so don’t let the slim odds of seeing Denali and its peak sour your...

Late Post Aug 23' Blue Moose Alaskan Gifts is a souvenir shop located in downtown Talkeetna, AK conveniently located across Denali Brew Pub. Have a brewski there and go shopping here! Honestly, it’s a tiny looking spot but offers tons of interesting things! Most locally sourced such as; coffee, all kinds of chocolate bars, variety of licorice, jewelry, books, mugs, pastries, cookies and so much more! I really liked the children and animal section. I got a book for my niece because she loves reading and learning. The book titled Molly in Denali talks about her culture, the animals, and the northern lights!
