So it seems fitting that I am doing the first review as I have been trying to get my hands on those little baggies of the "blue stuff" since I was in town for Xmas two years ago and the 3x I have been back since...turns out the 4th time is the charm here!

I happened upon their new location when I was passing through and as luck would have it, The Candy Lady herself greeted me at the door! I cannot convey enough how nice this woman is! You can tell she really cares about her product, image, and most importantly, her customers!

If you are looking for any kind of Breaking Bad paraphernalia, this is your place! They have merch, those little baggies of the blue stuff, and they even offer a Breaking Bad location tour! And The Candy Lady will most graciously oblige you w/a photo op sporting a Heisenberg hat and holding a bin of "Blue Sky" not only Breaking Bad, but also some fake Benjamins!

Now on to the chocolates! I only had a Grand Marnier truffle and a dark chocolate candy ginger, but both were super delish! You can tell the top notch ingredients and can definitely taste the quality! My only thing was that the gal that rang me up didn't tell me the price per item before she did even though I asked, so I had some sticker shock when those two pieces rang up for $8! They were really really good, but $4/piece was a little too rich for my blood.

In any case, I had a blast and was so happy to have visited the new location! The quality of the treats is fantastic and I got to try a few samples of fudge that were also great (and I am not a fudge person). They also make it a point to not "cross-contaminate" so every product is made separately to avoid harming people w/food allergies.

Highly...

Stay out my territory, at least that's how I felt when i visited here! Heard they sell all kinds of breaking bad goodies and before we left Albuquerque, I wanted to come here. I'm glad I did. Now parking here is not what everyone would wish for on their Christmas it is but it's doable! Make sure when the GPS says turn right, DON"T! It's a one way street and the GPS sometimes doesn't follow the law.

When you come here you will be greeted with breaking bad memorabilia including stills, autographs from the beloved show! Mark was really awesome, he spotted the love in my eyes for Breaking Bad and took us into the back where they had blue "meth" in a tray which for the record is just rock candy but looks awfully similar to the one they used in the show. They had a cutout of Walter White and Jessie (yeah b**!) and gave us the Heisenberg hat and glasses to take pictures with! Before we left, we made sure to grab some bags of the good stuff and I grabbed a couple of magnets from the show. They have many more items and even have a map to where everyone lived! Including Walter's house and jessie's house. And for those of you wondering, yes they do have tours that will take you to these places if you would like a more guided tour! If I had more time I would definitely go to everywhere on the map and definitely NOT throw pizzas on...

It was busy here.. the tourist attraction was booming... I wanted to get a candy apple... My niece wanted to go to the mall to get some candy apples.. I was let's just go to the Candy Lady. I never have been and I hear a lot about it. I stayed outside with my dog while my niece went to check out the selection of candy apples. My niece had only gotten Carmel apples because this is what the Candy Lady only had. I switched places with my niece. I went in to purchase the Carmel apples. The young lady that was helping my niece had already had the items in a bag when I got to the counter. As I approached the young lady to ask for the candy apples.. She grabbed the bag of Carmel apples and tossed them to the bag counter behind her. ( I think she thought my niece was not going to come back for the items.) I said Hi I came for the candy apples. She explained to me that they do not have candy apples. That they are Carmel apples. I was k... Then can I buy the Carmel apples. She grabbed the bag behind her and I purchased the items. I believe it was a long day for the staff and they...

So I haven't been to The Candy Lady candy store in quite a while five Stars tho⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just caz The candy lady her self she is very welcoming and has the best attitude and coustmer service and there is always some sort of samples if u want to try something and if there is not just ask IAM sure she will be glad to let u try out something ... but um so she has her own parking lot know.. So u don't have to park in the street or in the paid parking area , So I guess she opened up the parking lot about a year ago so just a F.Y.I if you wanted to go by and get some candy or a sweet treat for your self or as a gift also remember that The Candy Lady Sells that candy Meth from the Breaking Bad show along with Tee-shirts and stuff that have to do with the show and she also sell the tickets for the Breaking-Bad Rv tour.. I would suggest her candy shop to anyone who loves candy she is the best Candy Shop in Town no ifs ands or buts about it lol 😄😀💯💪😁☺️😊😃🤩😍🥰🍭🍬🍫!!!!

Loved this place! Located within Albuquerque's Old Town, just up the road from the central plaza, this quaint shop has an amazing selection of different sweets and candies available. Fudge, chili-infused chocolates, cherry cordials, chocolate-covered Oreos, peanut butter sweets - this place has everything! Personally, I was particularly fond of their orange-infused fudge, but you really can't go wrong with anything here. As an added bonus, if you're a Breaking Bad fan, you'll have more reason to visit here, as this is where the show's blue meth was actually made. They have a cute room near the back of the store where you can take pictures with trays of the blue rock candy, along with colourful aprons, fedoras, and shades if you want to go full Heisenberg. They sell little bags of the blue candy for $1, or larger bags for $10. Great stopover for anyone in the area that has a sweet tooth! The staff here were also SO friendly and helpful, so kudos to them.
