I was 100% taken advantage of at this store and I feel horrible about my experience. Please stay away from this company, they are very bad. I came into the store for a Bluetooth transmitter yesterday, Mason (manager) told me he doesn't sell transmitters and recommended I switch my radio to a monitor radio with apple car play. I inquired about the speakers in my car and he said it would sound better if I switch out my radio to monitor screen radio. He recommended/insisted I purchase the "Dual DCPA701W 7" Double-DIN In-Dash Digital Media Receiver with Bluetooth, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay." He assured me that he had the same radio in his Honda and it is good quality. He told me the price was 500 with installation. I was very skeptical about the product and I began look up the product while at the store. I found that Walmart sold the item for $267.69 online and I told him about it. He told me that he will drop the price to 450 plus tax, 270 for the radio, 100 for labor and 80 for the kit. I didn't hear the quality of the radio as they didn't have a display in store although they had other radio display. I took his word that the product was good quality and brought it. I also purchase an DayLead mini DF headlight for 120, b/c I have been blind and my vision driving at night is very bad. I later found that same headlight online for 19.99 the next day . After the installation, I went home listening to music and it sounded so very bad and the radio would cut off at random times when I touch buttons on the screen. Also I had issues switching radio, to my air pod, there seem to be like a long pause or prolonged muteness before it connects. To say the least I am very displeased with the quality and wanted to replace it the next day with a better quality radio from Best Buy. I called the store spoke to Mason and he told me that I brought the item and I couldn't return it. I just purchase this just last night and the quality is not good at all. I told him I didn't mind if he charged a restocking fee and put my new radio on as I have already paid for the installation and radio kit, he still refused. At this point I will take this company to small claim court to try to my money back as I can't have product that doesn't work well in my car. This experience made me look up reviews from other customer experiences at this store and some are bad and similar to mine, and some implied that they were scammed. I feel the exact same way! Customers please beware don't spend your money where you will be treated poorly. I just want a good quality radio, I didn't sign up for...
Read moreWell let's see, I've been here 3-4 times and all those times mainly negative experiences with no real customer service. The guy upfront is a joke, won't acknowledge you, isn't customer service oriented/friendly, take it or leave it type of guy, has no energy for the job. Just one of the minor recent examples, I won't get into the other worst instances: I asked if they had time to look into a problem I had, "he laughed and responded we close in 10 mins and went back to the register"!. Woops my bad, wouldn't want you guys to strain yourselves for your customer or anything (especially with the guys in the back just talking to each other when I was looking at their video monitor, no car either :/ ). No worries I mean it's not like I wasn't going to spend money but ok ;)! I mean if your not interested in really engaging or even a little engagement with your customers or trying to be helpful then go install where you don't have to deal with them, it's that simple! Get a friendly person that knows his/her stuff that can really take your business to the next level. F*#% is it really that hard to turn things around? Really look at your self in the mirror and ask if I'm the reason why I don't have more business? I guarantee you if I walked into best buy, I'll have a flood of associates that want to help, that will really make me feel valued, appreciated and educated with their products. That's the bar you should be working towards, until then you will only gradually grow or slowly start to decline in sales period! Do something different, anything is better than not changing and being comfortable with being average or less! Where I'm at I engage and value my customers! I personally will leave whenever everything customer related had been completed excluding paperwork, but I get not everyone is like the few, we are a needle in a haystack ;)! Buying online, won't be back! Rant...
Read moreYou can only imagine how it is for a female to go into a stereo shop with your husbands vehicle to get a system installed??! Well I'm pleased to say that Mason is a true businessman, knoweldagble, professional, ethical and truly honest. He made sure that he and his staff would insure my husband was pleased with their work. My husband had a custom system that was blown out (per mason) by the amplifier. I honestly had no clue what I was doing, but did my research, got a couple of estimates, called around. And after meeting another company, they simply wanted to scam me! I asked Google and led me to Mason. When calling, he was so patient with me, kind enough to quote me on the phone. So my gut decided to go see him. I initially wanted to install a new stereo and alarm. But as mentioned before, the system wasn't working, only assuming the stereo. Well it was worst than that! Still, Mason remained honest and worked me the best deal for a stereo, alarm, amp and woofer!! I'm not sure if they knew how nervous I was. This was a gift for my husband's 60th birthday, modifying his vehicle, he's a perfectionist, has his own 'system guy'! But I think he now has a 'new' system guy. My husband has returned to see Mason a few times to perfect his system, and again, Mason was engaging, knowledgeable and very helpful. You just get a good feeling when dealing with he and his staff. My husband says his system now sounds better than my Bose...lol. Go see Mason, tell him...
