Update from 10/27 visit:
I was surprised how much light they have allowed in the ride building over the years. Either the load or unload station is letting in a ton of light, which just ruins the experience of riding in the dark.
Previous review A ride I have always enjoyed, though it's placement ruined a nice avenue through the park and removed my beloved Spinnaker. My last visit on 7/28/24 was a frustrating experience. The line was about a dozen people outside of the building but I was still stopped at the Flashpass entry point anyway. No big deal, I'll wait. Then no movement for 15 minutes. Next, a family came up to the Flashpass entry and asked the crew member how long the wait was. He told them 15 minutes from here, which if you know how much longer the line is inside, you know that's inaccurate.

The waiting in line through a "cave", riding through the dark indoors, this year the addition of Christmas music and a few lights, I'm not sure why... but I will not find myself running towards this one anymore. It's over pretty quickly and though it feels like you're riding nearly on your side for some turns, overall this ride is...

I had the flash pass, walked up with my children, and in a very rude way she said "I need you to move BACK." I learned later we needed to keep the path clear for exiting customers, but I didn't know that. I understand she's pregnant and hormones may play a part, but when you are at work you should be professional. I stayed away from runaway mountain (it's been one of my all time favorite rides for years) for the rest of the day because of that, and won't be bringing my family of six back to six flags for quite some time, and won't be buying...
