Tractor Supply Co. — Attraction in Asheboro

I have been to this store 5-10 times in the last few years and always found the emps. to either be knowledgeable or nice, but never both. Always received average service but never felt compelled to rate until today. Because of the virus I ordered pick up curbside at the Asheboro, NC location. Be warned, NEVER ORDER CURBSIDE THERE. They just do not have the skill set to handle it. I called on arriving and the clerk said, it would be out "when they could get to it". So it started off with a bad feeling. I put it on a timer and 20 min. later there was still no one bringing my stuff---I ordered 2 items.

So I put on my mask and went in the store and passed a clerk who was pulling one of the items I ordered. I gave my name and asked if that was my order. He said "yes". When I asked him if he had my other item, a blank look came over his face and he said "let me check". He did check, and left to go to the back of the store and a few minutes later he came back with it. It was apparent he didn't know I had 2 items and who knows when they would have brought them curbside.

Bottom line--if Lowes down the road has the item, you are much better off going there.

Update on July 22nd. went in the store today and half the employees are not wearing masks. If it's important to you that the employees in the store wear masks do not go in there.

I went in on Saturday to rent the trailer to move some bulky items for my ex-wife. I asked the cashier about the trailer and was told that it was requested already. A lady had called and her ex-husband was coming to get it. I told her I am the ex-husband and I'm here to get it. So, she rang up the rental and called someone to complete the rental paperwork. When the guy came up, the customer behind me in line said that he wanted to rent the trailer. They guy (employee) told the cashier to cancel my transaction so the customer behind me could rent the trailer because he had seen the customer come in prior to me coming in even though my ex-wife had called and I had already put my debit card in the chip reader. I waited until she finished the transaction with the other customer and I asked if she could check another store to see if there was a trailer available. She said if I would give her a few minutes, she would try to find a telephone number for me to call. To make a longer story shorter, I had to drive 31 miles to the store in Lexington to get a trailer. The Manager in the Lexington store was very helpful and very easy to deal with. However, going there took almost 2 hours away from my moving time and added over 60 miles...

The service here was great. Esp after you pass out in the check out line.. i passed out and i dont even remember who was around me but all i know is the people there that work there and some customers saved my life. Esp this one man that said he was a law enforcement officer, not sure if he worked there but he stood beside me. Im pregnant and i got really dehydrated and had fainted. They all were right there helped me sit down and gave me water and some candy. The ambulance came and they took over but if it wasnt for the nice people that work there.. it wouldnt have been easy for me.
