The woman working there was very rude, and had a bad attitude. As soon as we walked in she gave my friend a hard time because his ID was vertical, I understand her suspicion but her tone was rude when she was questioning him. After she realized she had to accept it, I furnished my ID. My physical license shows expired but the license is active. I genuinely offered to show her proof of renewal for the same license # in a very kind manner (I have a receipt from the government website). She declined, which I understand. But I thought to myself no problem, I have another form of government ID. I pulled out my Florida Concealed Weapons Permit which is a valid state issued ID. Mind you the sign outside says they accept any State issued Identification card, and she made every excuse in the book to deny me. Other dispensaries accepted it. This card has my picture, license number, DOB, expiration date, shows the issuing government entity and other crucial information. Every online source says it is a valid form of ID as itâs issued by the government. I knew she was just out to get me so I stepped out, and I was right as she told my friend that she just didnât like my attitude which is surprising because she was hostile from the beginning and I was nothing but respectful. Not sure if she was just having a bad day, but if thatâs how she normally is she should not be working there with that attitude.
Before submitting this review I started reading all the negative reviews, most of them reference a rude woman staff member. Iâm very confident itâs the same person. She...
Read moreI was actually impressed with this store the first few times I went in. But the last visit I had was when they lost me as a loyal customer. The girl who helped me probably had just gotten her license to sell bc she had no idea what she was doing. Not her fault, maybe needs more training. They also had sent a misinforming text to my phone saying theres a cannabis shortage in colorado which have resulted in a price lowering for flower when you bought in bulk. Not true. Charging a ridiculous amount for a half. But this is what lost me as a customer.... Tried to buy a gram of wax they had listed in their menu book, she went and got it from the case behind her. She tried scanning it, then asked the boss for help. He said they arent selling it anymore bc they took it out of the system? Why is it still in the shelf. Why is it still on their menu book. I wouldn't have been upset if it was the same price. But that resulted in making me buy a more expensive gram. This is super annoying when youre a local. Get your store together. Have a better operational plan for when you take things off and be more attentive to what your selling and what your not. I'd never have this problem at native roots, which is where I'll always take my business from now on. Just sucks that this had to happen. Very disorganized, they only display a digital joint menu which is confusing bc you think that's the only thing they're selling until they say, "oh we have a menu book" or dont even acknowledge that they have one so you dont really know what your buying or the price. Never...
Read moreWent to RootsRxRecreational Monday morning after leaving the Pitkin County Courthouse. My long time partner and I decided to finally get married and make it legal. LOL Our dear friend Katie was with us to officiate the union. It was a whirlwind of events that made us step back and pause when we walked out of the courthouse and realize that we had indeed actually just got married. No plans on what was next, so we all set to walk around Aspen. As we walked by Roots RX Recreational, we decided to pop in and get some kind of edibles to start our celebrating for the day. Joc was extremely helpful on what to purchase. We couldnât have asked for a more energetic, knowledgeable and positive person to assist us. Thank you Joc for all your help. All three of us said if and when we ever need or want anything again, we would definitely return to RootsRX Recreational. Especially if Joc...
