DO NOT LEASE HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I had a 15 month lease which my lease ended March 12,2023. Be really weary of moving here because yes it’s a money Pit and very inconsiderate. I’ll start off with a positive very nice looking apartments and a great location especially if you work in the city. Now for the bad Trash- you are charged monthly for valet trash. They do not come everyday. And when you move out they’ll charge for trash also ( it’s not like you payed months of trash that you had to take to the trash yourself) Key fob access - everything here is key fob access. So for example one night tried to get into my apartment but guess what I couldn’t because the battery in my apartment door died so I couldn’t gain access to my apartment until the next day. What I get from the leasing office is “okay will fix it”. Multiple times at this apartment they would have an “outage” and the key fob access would stop working meaning you couldn’t get on any floors by stairs or elevator because the fob access was inoperable. Parking garage- The gate is always broke which leaves you only one way in and one way out. Also it’s not enough parking for residents. Package delivery- if you have Amazon prime you mine as well cancel. You have to go threw a warehouse service which they have terrible customer service and you’ll receive your packages days later when they feel like it. Also they don’t deliver on holidays. When you move out don’t think it’s going to be a pleasant journey because it’s not. Anytime I ever needed something from them or they needed something from me an email would be sent to my personal email and to the portal. When it came to moving out the same wasn’t reciprocated. I get hit with all types of fees and essentially has to pay around $1400 for staying in an apartment for 12 days of the month(March). I can’t argue with anything because everything was sent to the portal once you move out everything is deactivated so I have no documentation. For all the bad attitudes that I had to deal with the staff and all the bad situations and fees I was hit with every month for 15 months you would think I could at-least leave without being “raped financially.”
No information was given about the move out process such as times. But I called the day off and finally given some information in which I had to rush.
Lastly even though while living in this apartment has been very unpleasant. It was one lease office lady (black/female) might be new. That was extremely nice and helped me the best way that she could while I was moving out.
For the future I will read reviews. If I get a bad feeling when signing a lease I will cancel. Hopefully, they’ll try to stop trying to benefit off the...
Read moreDO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Today is my move-in day and this is by far the WORST moving experience I've ever had. I regret signing the lease yesterday. Not only do they NOT communicate to new residents that if you don't show up at the exact time of the 3-hour window that you reserve the freight elevator to move in they will allow someone else to jump in front of you causing you to incur additional costs as you're being charged by the hour by your movers while waiting for the person who did NOT have the elevator reserved, but the assistant manager will also cop an attitude with you when you call him out on their lack of communication. It's NON-COMMUNICATION, Andrew, not miscommunication. There is a very distinct difference. And Ms. Ivory had a bad attitude from the moment I called her. Even my mover noticed it and thought it very unprofessional. They also include information in their welcome packet about a TV mounting service TouchInstall which is as equally unprofessional. My guess is that whomever is the owner of TouchInstall is related to someone at Alexan Buckhead Village which is why this property is vouching for such an unprofessional business. This new resident gives this community two thumbs down. I'm literally counting down the days until I can move from this ghetto, classless place. I should've went with The Bryant across the street. Much nicer apartments and the staff that I encountered were leaps and bounds more professional. Check them out instead. You'll be glad you did.
Update: To make matters worse, Andrew continued to not take responsibility for how their non-communication resulted in the cluster of a moving day. He was very condescending speaking to me as if I were a child and not the fully grown adult who just shelled out over $2K to move in to this ratchet community. But the icing on the cake was when they sent someone to try to close the doors of the loading dock before my movers could finish unloading. Fortunately, my movers told them they would have to call the police before they would move their truck without unloading my things first. All of this could have been avoided and my move would have been over by now had Andrew and his incompetent staff been more forthcoming with the specifics of their moving day policy - specifically that they will let anyone pull up their moving truck during the time you had it reserved, costing you time and money. This place...
Read moreCouldn't be happier with living at ABV!!! All categories you can imagine get a 5 star rating from me. See below for details on each!
Quality/Style: The GE appliances, NEST system, gorgeous wood floors, crisp white walls, mudroom/cubby area, spacious white (or gray) kitchen with cabinets, and well designed floor plans (space maximization) are top of the line.
Amenities: If you work from home a lot, you're going to love the clubroom. It's better than going to a coffee shop (though Dancing Goats just opened around the corner... so that's a plus!!) - I feel like I'm in the most fabulous, cozy library. So many different spots to work. The gym is STOCKED. The pool is beautiful.
Management & Staff: I can't stress this enough, management matters and can make or break a living situation. I've lived in beautiful apartments with poor management and vice versa. The Alexan has the best of both worlds. Gordon and Alexis have the best energy and they couldn't be more helpful, kind and professional. They go above and beyond. The same goes for the maintenance crew. You can expect speedy service and lots of smiles. I'm so impressed and thankful for everyone here!
View/Location: This is the most central location (which concerned me at first because of traffic), but I discovered there are a handful of side roads to allow you to scoot past the busy intersections and get where you need to be. I love being close to Whole Foods & Trader Joes, a handful of amazing gyms, and my church is right down the road. And all of the delicious restaurants are walkable (Buckhead Shops rock!). Also, I'm oddly obsessed with trees and the apartment is filled with natural light. There are trees, blue skies out my window right now, and you can see the skyline of Atlanta. It's pretty incredible.
Cleanliness: As a brand new complex with incredible staff, this place is always looking clean. Not sure how they do this... they're hard workers, that's for sure.
I have friendly neighbors (and lots of fluffy 4 legged neighbors). Very happy!
WARNING: Once you visit, you WILL want to live here!...
