Be prepared to wait, even if you have a PAID DEPOSIT appointment. Wanted to try this new place will not come back, they do not respect your time, my parking even expired before my appointment was up which is pretty wild.

I saw a number of people come in with an appointment and wait...5 or 10 minutes no big deal....but I waited 30 MINUTES on a deposit paid appointment.

I made my appointment online this morning, and paid the deposit to hold my appointment time in the evening.

I arrive 10 minutes early, the woman at the front greeted me, told me which box to look at for GelX and I had a seat. Right at 5pm (my appointment time) I was seated at a nail tech station and I then waited another 30 minutes, just sitting.

During the time I sat, no one came over to explain why there was such a long wait, offered me another water, nothing. So at 5:30 I pick my keys out of my bag ready to leave because I was now going to be late to my next engagement after my nail appointment.

As soon as I was in the middle of standing up the tech came over and apologized and immediately started working on my nails.

The tech did a fantastic job! And its not usually the techs fault if the shop is running behind, its whomever is taking the appointments and working the schedule.

Upon leaving, I added 20% gratuity because the tech did the work, and the work was really well done.

I asked the woman at the front "what is a better time to come in, I had an appointment and waiting 30 minutes is really crazy"

She basically blamed the customers saying "well if the previous customer has an issue with their nail or something like that its not common but it does push back the next customer".

Its absolutely exhausting to deal with these salons that couldn't care less if they screw up your entire schedule, when I arrived someone should have just said "were running behind" - but no, I just sat and waited with NO COMMUNICATION ABOUT THE TIMING ISSUE.

I saw plenty of people come in and wait for their appointment time so it has to be common.

After bringing up the 30 minute wait...the woman at the front offered no "make good" l(ike $5 off next visit, or $5 off the current visit for the trouble or manicure add on next time)...nothing, just a "ok bye see ya".

Imagine if I was 30 MINUTES LATE to the appointment.

No respect for a paid deposit appointment.

There's no way for me to respond to you directly without updating the post, I was not at the salon today, when I wrote this review it was the day of my appointment on 1/13/23. My parking expired because my appointment didn't start until 30 minutes after my appointment time, then it took the tech about 90 minutes to complete the service. If you read the post, there was no issue with the quality of work. There is no reason for me to send a photo of my nails it has nothing to do with the issues I experienced at the salon, which are outlined...

What a pleasant surprise at MAA Buckhead! The Nail Lab recently opened and they are located right next to the leasing office. Finding the store was a bit difficult at first, but I called the shop to ask for directions & I was there in no time. From my first step into the Nail Lab and my last step out, my experience could not get any better! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted so warmly by their team. In the front, they have a selection of regular polishes and a bucket on the side for gel/dip powder. They had many massage chairs (the kid chairs were adorable!) and tables for clientele. The restroom was located towards the back of the shop and everything was clean and neat. The decor was very cute from small plants to Christmas decor. Their Christmas tree was beautiful! I showed the receptionist the photo of the set of nails I wanted and she recommended I get the GelX. I never used GelX before but after seeing her set of GelX and her telling me its less damaging, I was convinced 😂. I had Jackie & Angie (I pray I remembered their names correctly 😭) tag team on my hands and both were very sweet. The process for the GelX tips took a while but I appreciated their aim for precision. When the tips were applied, the rest went by in a flash! I felt like my ring & pinky finger were a bit bare without designs and just asked for them to freestyle. From the shape to the designs, I am incredibly satisfied with my set. They literally copy and pasted the photo to my nails! They are such great artists and were able to make the nails reflect me 1000% 😍 For my pedi, I was taken care of by Ni. She was kind and always made sure I was comfortable. The massage chair + her skills definitely made me want to fall asleep 😂 I had gotten the Baking Soda pedi and they allowed me to choose from 5 scents: milk, matcha, eucalyptus, lavender and grape. I know it sounds weird but the milk one smelled so so good! The Baking Soda included an exfoliator, mud mask & massage. My legs were so smooth afterwards. 10/10 would recommend. From the beginning til the end, I have nothing but compliments for the team! Everyone was attentive and gave great service. 10/10 The only place in Atlanta I will go to!! I started seeing B and Summer in early 2021 when they had a small salon loft and have been a loyal Nail Lab customer ever since! I was initially intrigued by the intricate designs that they did on short, natural nails. Other nail salons had refused to do the designs I wanted without first doing acrylics—no thank you!

They offer Gel-x (I love that they have xtra-small shapes), SNS/dip, gel, and of course, regular (and vegan) polish! They have an IMPRESSIVE selection of colors in all forms and design elements such as chrome powder, decals, foil, gems/charms, and my favorite, real dried flowers!

This is the only nail salon I’ve ever been to that doesn’t reek of acetone. It is bright, clean, and inviting with lots of natural light that makes sitting for the appointment enjoyable. The pedicure basins are covered with a removable plastic film for each customer as well as fresh nail tools.

Everyone is great, but I personally see Emma! She is PHENOMENAL. Her skills and attention to detail is unmatched. She is so patient when removing the gel on my thin nails and always ensures that I am comfortable and satisfied! I will never go...
