Reggie at this store #1885 (65 5th St, Atlanta) acts like he can only fix his face and speak without the attitude to men and mixed looking young black women with long hair. Nasty attitude when i placed my to go order, then I asked for 4 apple juices and instead if explaining that this waffle house has some kind of 2 for 1 deal on them, he charges me for 4 and brings 8 in a bag with no explanation. Then after another staff member explained why there were so many, I ask for some to be refunded so that my total count including their discount is the 4 I wanted (so he should have only charged me for 2), and he rolls his eyes to the sky and keeps them there for a few like he's praying for patience! Then the food comes and I ask for apple butter. Every other waffle house in the history of me going gives these out in pairs. This guy saw I ordered two separate things and hands me one. I ask for another one and he barks at me with raised voice like he's talking to his dog "some are already in the bag". At this point he's lucky I don't hand him back the whole thing and give him a reason to carry on like that by asking for a full refund, but I get the bag and head to my car, where I look in the bag and see nothing extra but the utensil. I go back in there and let him know I saw none extra so now I want 2 more apple butters, and he doesn't even acknowledge he heard me for the longest, to the point where the customer behind me said "I don't think he heard you" but I knew he did. He finished ringing up the customer already at the counter and went to ring up someone else but I intervened. Instead of simply getting the 2 apple butters this man raises his voice at me again arguing about them being in the food container. I let him know I don't like the attitude so he can get me 2 more apple butters because you're acting like you're paying for them, he gets them while I'm talking and cuts me off, nearly throws them at me while snapping "Here. BYE." In front of a line of to go customers!
This man needs to find a new line of work. And apparently if the only customers he has manners for are the men and the barely legal he should maybe go work somewhere he can play favourites and not face the general public. And he wouldn't act like this in front of people if the management of that store was doing its job. Anytime such behaviour is so bold, management is the same...
Read moreEntrance to this waffle House was OK there really was not one person that welcomed me. Now starting this morning out the gate the grits fresh the tea was great. Let's talk service. The majority was great. However my server never performed her duty bc she was too busy getting ready to go to second job. Now believe me I well I know about that. Customer should never feel like a server is doing them a favor by waiting on them. Most of my 546,248 followers will tell you I'm all about customer service. So now let's now talk about what makes four stars this wh is one of the cleanest. Signage was arrayed nicely. The employees were for the most part in uniform. Waffle House also has really shocked but delighted me in the fact that they are an equal opportunity employer. There is a transgendered employee. Grill operators has impressed me all were properly attired from hats gloves approve, name tags no male employee was sagging no bagging shirts were tucked in. This location is located in the Georgia Tech college community. So therefore you can expect certain things to be a little more laxed but not. This one every employee was trying to keep it high spirited. No one on the shift wantedto take responsibility for shift. Quincy, montavia, Brit. Jr all were above great. Please note there are problems here but where will you go there is not. So employees needs to keep language to low key. There dirty pictures need to be shown where customers can't see them. Attitude counts high in my book. So friendliness , great food. This is the reason behind the 4 stars. If in Atlanta come see the guys here on 5th I think u will impressed. But come in morning where you get the best service. Cameras where perfectly placed. Brit man she is well trained and her customer service is perfect. Yes yes go to American idol cause she can sing. I've asked to see mgr. Three times yet...
Read more1 hour wait in the cold after the only black female server admitted several people into the building , took their order, cash them out and served their food before being acknowledged. As she escorted the guest out the building she proceeded to say she is only doing Togo. Clearly the policy on the sign advertises take out is from 11pm to 6am. It is discriminatory when some guests are allowed to be inside and dine in, while others are being forced to wait outside at the convenience of the server who had negative customer service practices because it was cold outside and it was only one person that was asking to enter the building to wait to place the order for all of us. After waiting 30 minutes in the cold and they left, she acknowledged us to take the order, wasn’t till the people that were allowed to come inside to dine in and place to go orders we’re already escorted out the building. After placing my order and 30 minutes later, four people received food before we did and we placed our order before all of them. The cook was working very hard and we did tip him! However, the 20% for the server is ridiculous because Her negative attitude hindered the guest experience. We tip beyond 20. Making negative remarks towards guest is INTOLERABLE when they are forced to wait in the cold while others are eating and are ignored. We tipped the cook he was great! Someone said you’re a good Person to our group, And then she replied, I can’t tell, she argued back-and-forth with us when we only complained about her service and the way she treated us and the timely manner she served our food, We got All-Star and she didn’t even ask us what kind of toast or jelly we want for the entrée We would’ve got more, but why? People behind us got food before us and our order was wrong and...
