IMPORTANT REVIEW TO HELP CUSTOMERS NOT BE TRAPPED INTO SERVICES DUE TO BAD MANAGEMENT AND EVEN WORSE COMMUNICATION! I RECOMMEND BETTER MIDTOWN MASSAGE BUSINESSES AT END! First, I want to communicate that my therapist was wonderful. However, even though it was a top five massage for me in the last five years I will never return because the management of this massage envy location is so horrific. I wanted it to be clear that my therapist was wonderful and my review has nothing to do with her. The management here failed to inform a friend of mine that her credits that she transferred to me and four other people would expire. That was a grave mistake in communication that cost my friend money and time, as well as myself money and time. When I arrived to have my massage and informed them of my credit, and was told this policy of expiration, they offered me absolutely nothing but a decreased cancellation fee, even though my friend was never informed of this policy and I of course was certainly never informed as a first time massage envy customer. Of course I had the massage because it was not my therapistâs fault. I have now received two calls from massage envy, asking me how my experience was, which is also a sign of their terrible communication and management. They did not have a record that they spoke with me on Wednesday of this week and then proceeded to call me again on Thursday. Considering how much availability there was when I booked my massage there is no way they are too busy to properly log that they have already contacted me about my issues. Apparently, the woman I spoke to on both days lied about her position, claiming to be a manager and using other employees identities. Hugely unprofessional. And the corporate manager I was told would contact me Wednesday never did until today claiming I requested a call back, which I did not. I was going to only leave them a direct review until these additional horrific miscommunications occurred wasting more of my time. On all of these calls, they never once offered to make things right with me by offering me money back, not even a coupon to return and use their services. Although I think it is clear that I would have never accepted a coupon as I intend to never return here. There are other great massage opportunities in the Atlanta area that I would 1000% recommend over this location.    Read moreWARNING READ MASSAGE ENVY CORPORATE REVIEWS. This company should be prosecuted. I went to Massage Envy to get a massage. The sales person, Calvin Wickman, tried to sell me a contract. When I noticed that it looked like a one year commitment I said that I was not interested until I had a couple of massages to try it out. He assured me that signing a contract was the best and most economical way, and that is what most people do.  He also stated that the contract contained a 3 month trial period, so a longer commitment was not an issue. The contract seemed vague on the issue, so I asked for, and he sent an email from a Massage Envy address confirming that there was a 3 month trial period. I was not very happy with the quality of the massage, so two weeks ago I called up to cancel my Agreement before the fourth month started . I spoke with a sales person there who stated that I would have to wait till after the 3 month period was over to cancel. I disagreed and asked to speak with the manger who was "out".  After requesting a call back from her, which I never received, I called back the next day. I spoke with a manage who identified herself as Porcha. When I notified Porcha that I wanted to exercise my cancellation option during the trial period as promised I was told be that there was no trial period and that I was responsible for the year. I informed Ms. Porcha that I was told by the person that signed me up that I was promised a cancellation period, yo which she replayed "Can you prove it". I stated that I had an email and forwarded on to her at the Massage Envy email address that she provided. The next day I was told that she was ignoring both the promise and the email which I received from her employee and she was not going to let me out of the contract. I tried to contact Massage Envy corporate offices and saw their reviews. The business is just trying to scam you; they try to nickel and dime you; you only end up with 40 min out of 60 min actually getting a massage, and the massages are not good anyway. Save your time and money. Go to a professional that actually cares about...
Read moreNow that I've calmed down, I can do this review. Last week, I noticed I had a couple of unauthorized transactions in my account.. (one for $90 and the other for $60) So after calling this location 4 times with not receiving the call back from the manager that I was promised by whoever answered the phone, I decided to ride all the way from Vinings to see someone in person.. I was told that the manager was not in.. so I explained to the person at the desk that I had been calling and not getting a response. She checked some book and told me that it probably wasn't written down and that she would leave her a message.. about 2 minutes later the manager walked in.. I explained to her what had happened and she proceeded to look up my account and inform me that she didn't see those amounts. THEN she said that my husband had been there on days that he had NOT. I AM the one with the account. My husband is not. I know exactly when he was there because I'm the one who made the appt. and payed the transfer fee. Neither one of us has been there before or after that day. So as I was explaining that the information in the computer was false and must've been entered incorrectly.. She then said "Well , I have to talk to the person who had the visit (my husband) and said she was late getting to an appointment and she wouldn't be able to do anything about my $150 until next week.. if she could do anything at all. I agree with every bad thing about the management that has been mentioned in the previous reviews.. it's horrible! And I've been a member since 2011. It hasn't always been this way.. but I've had a few account problems in the last few months that need to be...
