Let's start with the location... Parking is a challenge. It's small and intimate and service from the moment you walk in is incredible!

While they do have menus the preferred way is to read the QR code that's on every table and along the bar.

Now the food: For apps we had the fried squid 🐙 with spicy mayo. EAT THESE RIGHT AWAY! They are fresh out of the fryer and delicious. The mayo is an after-thought. We also ordered the pork belly and it's nothing short of fantastic! Finally we ordered the spicy cucumbers. This was a terrific experience. Crunchy. Spicy and delish.

For our meals my guest ordered the Ultra Spicy Tori (level 3), fried chicken and the add-on of pork belly and shitake mushrooms. Spice level 3 is like habenero! You could taste every ingredient and the spice took it up a notch. Outstanding dish! The only drawback was he ordered fried chicken and got grilled instead.

I ordered the Spicy Miso with grilled chicken and add-on of pork belly and shitake mushrooms. Another dish that was a winner!

The portion sizes are large! To drink we had Sprite. Bill was $92 and yes. Worth it.

Was it "Japanese?" I don't know. Certainly the sense of Japanese cuisine was in the atmosphere and flavor but (and again I want to emphasize it was DELICIOUS) there is a depth of flavor that I didn't get. It is an EXCELLENT homage to happened Japanese food and I'll...

Went here back in December, and had the worst time at this restaurant. GROUPS BEWARE. It is pretty lovely here… if you’re alone or with a spouse. They treat groups like garbage; and when we came in (not from the area, so was un-familiar about the rules here) they immediately started bashing us about how many we had. After being seated I noticed a sign that says tip was automatically added to our ticket with a group above 4. I didn’t mind that at all. The waitress was very sweet, and we were told after our orders were taken by this guy (possibly a host?) that we have to pay cash since there’s 6 of us. Being this day in age, we didn’t have cash but only card. We asked if there was a way to split it.. the guy told us no and proceeded to be very unkind towards us. One friend managed to get money for the ticket; so we paid it in full (with the automatic tip PLUS more) After we paid, we walked out to leave and suddenly hear yelling behind us. We all turn and sure enough, it was the host again. This guy yelled at us about “Aren’t you going to tip your waitress after all she did for you??? It’s disrespectful not to tip”. Woah. We were all baffled that he chased us out of the store and asked a question like that after we were more than generous with our tip. (Above $30, not sure about exact amount). So our friend gave him a $20 and we left. Very terrible...

So before starting. I would like to mention the following. I have been to various Ramen/Japanese restaurants, but none of them can compare to the richness in flavor and superb service like Kinnotori Ramen Bar. When we got there we were seated fast and were offered a pitcher of fresh icy water (which we for sure could not turn down)! Our waitress was wonderful and for being a late Sunday night where most people would want to go home, she was welcoming and made sure we were taken care of. Plates came out fast and at a great temperature. Not scorching hot or cold. Just right! I ordered the Ultra spicy tori Paita, Edamame, and Karage chicken. The spicy Tori paita came at different spice levels 1-5. Of course being Spanish i went all out and ordered the spice at level 4. It was AMAZING in flavor and went great with the karage chicken. Portions were on point and everything was absolutely superb! Whenever we return to Georgia, this is definitely going to be my go to place to eat. Thanks for your amazing service and cleanliness during these times. Kin no Tori Ramen Bar has earned a faithful foreign customer. Whenever you want to expand to Jersey, you all are more...

This cozy little ramen shop is an amazing place for a quick, deeply satisfying meal. We ordered the karaage with shishito peppers, takoyaki, spicy miso ramen w/ pork belly, and the yasai ramen w/ battered shrimp. We also tried the iced sweet plum tea. The kaarage was good, but not the best I've ever had. The takoyaki was excellent, so fresh and deliciously umami. The spicy miso ramen was really good, had a nice subtle hint of ginger underlying the creamy and savory chicken flavor. The yasai was also very good, the broth's flavor wasn't as rich as the spicy miso, but I loved how spicy it was even at level 2. It also came with a lot of toppings. I don't recommend adding battered shrimp as it only comes with 3 (admittedly decent) pieces. The sweet plum tea was refreshing and delicious. It tastes more caramel-y than typical southern sweet tea so it's worth a try. So glad we kicked off our visit here! Thanks to the very friendly waitress who gave us recommendations of places to go and try in the area. 😊 Also, there's a 10% student discount with valid ID! They accepted our out of state ones for the discount.
