TJ MAXX is located within a shopping complex that includes various other stores and eateries and also Home Depot, it’s opposite the iconic Ponce City Market. It’s a reasonably sized store, TJ MAXX stands for value and quality and reasonable prices. This branch is so so clean, it’s very busy in respect of items on display but it’s so well organised, no discarded clothes on the floor or items displaced, much credit goes to the floor staff, it’s rest room is spotless clean and a rarity in stores these days, so thanks for that. THIS TJ MAXX BRANCH, is the best branch I have encountered and you can’t fail to be tempted to buy and indulge your shopping desires.

See photos. Booted car. Do not shop at the Ponce de Leon location. $75 for walking into the TJ Maxx and then walking down the street. They have people watching where you walk and boot your car if you walk out of the parking lot. Never will I go into another TJ MAXX again or any other store in this complex. This fool actually stalked me in the parking lot. Fine is not clearly posted, which is illegal. Enjoy my $75.

Spent $90 in tj max, made the mistake of grabbing a coffee across the street, was gone maybe 10 minutes and came back to my car booted along with about 30ish other cars in the same row. Will take my business literally anywhere else if this is what customer service means around here.

It honestly pains me to write this review as I sit in my car after just exiting TJ Maxx today. However I feel so strongly about it I needed to get it off my chest immediately. I came in and did a store return for an item that I purchased on the first day of TJ Maxx opening after Covid 19. In all honesty I did not have my receipt present with me at the time however the associate that handled my return offered me store credit provided me a store credit card and receipt accompanying it. I proceeded to go through the store and purchase well over 5 times the amount I returned ($33). When I brought my items to the register and presented my store credit card to the cashier she said me “They didn’t put your name on this?” (“This” being the store credit card) I replied “No” , her “ Well I can’t accept this” I proceeded to explain to her that I literally just did the credit at the end register about an hour earlier all in the same trip and even provide her the receipt that accompanied the store credit card. She proceeded to ask another associate to get the other person at the end of the register to come and verify my face. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the associate that was there at the time. The manager was called and she proceeded to tell the associate that it was OK to take my credit. To say that this associate was rude would be an understatement. Her attitude was atrocious and she has no business having a speaking role and dealing with customers on a day-to-day basis. At one point I was told whenever I make a return to make sure that I get my name written on the store credit card. I had to explain to the associate that it is not my place in order to police TJ Maxx and they were associates and them not handling their own store procedures correctly. This whole interaction literally took close to 6 to 7 minutes and I was made to feel as if I was trying to do something dishonest. And after actually leaving the store and upon further inspection of the return receipt, lo and behold I see my own name printed on the receipt. I wonder why anyone didn’t bother to just ask me for a form of government ID to verify my identity. Furthermore, later on take the time to chastise their associate that failed to do her job later on. After excusing my presence and after allowing me to complete my purchase. I finished making my purchase but in the end I may actually come back and return these items because it really doesn’t sit right with me how I was treated today. This is the first time that I have ever been treated this way and I can’t say that all my experiences have been negative. To be honest I think I’ve only ever returned items to TJ Maxx on one or two occasions a long time ago and was not aware of their new protocol. Their associates could benefit from some true customer service training and how to handle discrepancies when...

My friend and I were doing some high level shopping because we are both decorating our apartments. We are all set and ready to checkout. Nope! Lol we ring everything in and guess what?! My credit card declines for absolutely no reason! I'm sure they hear this all the time "I dont understand why I have more than enough to cover the bill.", but I was actually telling the truth lol. I immediately called my bank... but from my friends phone because guess what AGAIN?! Mine is DEAD! While I'm on the phone I'm answering all the questions that's obviously telling them I'm me right.... all was fine until they said "Can we send you an email or text for you to confirm?" 🤦🏽‍♀️ Actually I CAN'T my phone is DEAD. So I sign into Google on my friends phone right, which took another 7 mins... only for it to say "this number isnt authorized can we send a text to your phone to confirm?" NO YOU CAN NOT my phone is DEAD!

Finally a supervisor came to okay it so I can get the block off my card. Smh. It took like 30 mins and did I mention the store was closing when we 1st got to the register? Yeah, so I'm irritated because one I just shopped for hours and I'm ready to decorate my place as soon as I get home ONLY to hear "Declined" which is embarrassing and also the workers are starting to close up for the night so I'm holding up their process 🤦🏽‍♀️.

The manager Felicia was very patient with me for as long as she could be with time fighting against her and she even offered to hold everything until tomorrow for us. I didnt want to wait especially when I just lost all this time I cant get back. She said "I'm so sorry but we have no choice. I can give you maybe another 2 mins." Completely understanding yet feeling defeated I just start praying inside my head like "Lord you know I dont want to double back tomorrow and you know I dont want to leave empty handed. Please just make a way so we all can be happy and this guy hurries up and tells me to run my card". About 1 min of the 2 mins I had left the guy tells me its approved go ahead.... I run it... DECLINED AGAIN! Smh I tell him he says hold on for a second... I now know I only have 1 more try to run this before ALLLLLL our stuff stays here until tomorrow.... he gets back to the phone and says "Please run it again."... I do and FINALLY it goes through! THANK YOU GOD! lol talk about instant relief and anxiety gone! Ms. Felicia seemed JUST as relieved as we were lol. I thank her for being so patient especially at the end of the night and I thank her for going out her way to try to fix something she had no control over! Thank...

DO NOT BUY AT THIS PLACE. I went shopping at the Whole Food Market / TJ MAX supermarket while my family went across to see the Ponce market, which is in front of the parking lot. I finished shopping and went to look for them. It took me only a few minutes. When I returned I had to pay 75 dollars because they put a lock on my car. I explained to the manager that I only crossed for a few minutes to look for my family and that I had also shopped at the Whole Food Market supermarket, which was totally verifiable. I explained to him that I didn't have a cell phone signal and that's why I crossed. He didn't want to listen any reason and only cared about taking the $75 from me as a condition of releasing the car. I think what they do is brutal. They don't think about the client. If this is the way to act, no one should ever shop at this...
