I visited Walton Spring Park on 15th August 2024. The park is a small but charming green space in the city, offering a nice spot to take a break and enjoy some quiet time amidst the urban environment. The landscaping is pleasant, and the park has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a decent spot for a quick visit.
However, similar to other parks in the area, the experience was affected by the presence of several homeless individuals. While it’s understandable that public spaces are shared, their presence and occasional intrusive behavior made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the park. It would be great if there were more efforts to ensure that the park remains a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone.
