this place just ruin my hair, lady washed my hair and asked if I wanted deep conditioner and I said yes so then after the wash prima put me under the dryer. After, this young woman straightened my hair, I should my aunt and cousin and they said “hold up it looks too straight did they put relaxer?” (Keep in mind my mom did not say any relaxer and I DID NOT want a relaxer) so then I was confused because the only thing I thought of was when prima asked “deep conditioner?” So I said no. I have recently moved to Atlantic City and am still finding my way around town. I had desperately needed a hair cut and wanted a change in hair color. I need to mention I have had the same hair color since I was 18yrs old. I found Maritza's Salon through Google maps. I was a walk-in (on a holiday weekend). I had the warmest greetings and described what I wanted to do to my hair. Maritza disagreed with me and was confident in knowing what would look best. I couldn't agree more. I had my hair color corrected with partial highlights. And a hair cut with about 4 inches cut off. My hair has never looked so beautiful. The color has complimented my facial complexion perfectly. Went to A.C. for a work function. Took a chance with this place because I needed a person that knows how to deal with my curly/wavy hair. They did an EXCELLENT job on my hair. No, its not a fancy salon. Its a clean salon with real people and good hands. I danced & sweated ALL NIGHT LONG & my hair DID NOT FRIZZ. I got so many compliments.
