Nike Factory Store - Atlantic City — Attraction in Atlantic City

I have never had an experience quite like the one 1 i had in this Nike location. To start with, I NEVER go shopping because I don't have money like that, I always buy my kids stuff. For me, I go second hand or Wal-Mart. This day my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to good quality shoes. We go in, and no one offers to help us. We really had to search for help. We pick out the shoes we wanted and went up to pay. To make things faster my husband pays for one pair and I go to another register to pay for my pair. We had our 2 year old with us, I stood on the side while I waited for my husband after I was done paying. There ended up being 2 left shoes in the box. It took about 15 minutes for someone to help the girl at the register and bring her the right shoe. All the while I am entertaining my antsy 2 year old on the side. Finally my husband comes over and says it's taken care of let's go. We go home. The next day I open the box to wear my new shoes and find a complete different shoe than what I picked out. Not only that but now I have 2 right feet of a shoe that I didn't even pick out. In the store we had 2 left shoes of what I picked. At home I have 2 right shoes of a complete different style. So then I had to go back to get the right shoe. This took an addition 15-20 minutes just for them to locate the shoe I wanted again!

Seriously regretting treating myself for the first time since I started having kids! I expected a lot more from Nike. Highly...

Update: 1 Star - August 2023 Awful experience this time around. Most staff around the store were avoiding customers and weren’t helpful. There was no help near the sneakers area at all. When one of the staff members finally showed up, he had a bad attitude and got annoyed when my son asked if he could check if they have another sneaker model in stock for his size.

At the time of paying, I had over $1500 worth of Nike products in 7 different large bags. The paper shopping bags they provide were over stuffed and I kindly asked the young lady at the cashier to provide an additional bag just in case one of the bags breaks while shopping around the outlets and she refused to provide the additional bag. When I asked her to call a manger over, she gave me the additional bag with no problem!!! The difference in the shopping experience at this store between February and August is like night and day!!!

When I tried to visit this store recently there was a line to get in, presumabely due to COVID restrictions, but there was hardly anyone in the store. At any given time there were about 5-10 customers in line and probably only about 15-20 customers in the store. A number of customers came out of the store while I waited, but the security guard still didn't let anyone in except for a couple of random customers who were allowed to skip the line for some reason. A number of other customers in the line ended up leaving because of the ridiculous wait. Finally, after waiting about ten minutes and having witnessed about ten customers leave the store, she started letting a few people in. When I tried to walk in the she gave me an attitude and told me that I couldn't go in. Then she let the man behind me in though. This store seemed to be the only place in Atlantic City that still had COVID restrictions, which would be fine if they were reasonable, but they were hardly letting anyone at all in the store.
