GUESS Factory — Local services in Atlantic City

Visited this store today to do a exchanged for a friend 2/6/2024 , my excellent customer service began with a phone call to the store . The gentleman who answered the phone was so pleasant giving me directions from the hotel , I was at. Upon arriving in the store I was greeted by a young lady who had a smile on her face and answers to my questions for the exchange. She showed me T- shirts and displayed them so nice that I was able to video call the individual and show them the various selections available to them . Upon the person making their selections, I took to the register for the exchange and the same gentleman who answered the phone, handled the exchange. The customer service that I received from these two employees was above and beyond , that I would come back to this store to shop for myself. They both need to be recognized and appreciated by the company they work for, it's been a while for me to be inside a retail store , since I usually shop online. It's really unfortunate disheartening & disappointing, It's very hard to find good customer service these days. My message is for an older sales associate that works the cashier with dreads or locks. I know she's not a new employee because I have visited this store before. This year I happen to visit the store on 2/6/2022 & I made a purchase only to return it shortly after.The sales associate had a very nasty attitude. I didn't have to deal with any of that. Especially not on my Birthday. I simply realized she had no respect for any of my questions or concerns & that I didn't have to put up with her dismissive attitude. I could easily spend my $270.00 elsewhere. A real eye opener, sometimes older employees lose their focus on how to be friendly & treat customers with respect. I like this GUESS because they are usually fairly well stocked and because every time I have been there in the past year an employee named Gia has been very helpful. I try to get in and out of stores pretty quickly so time is of the essence to me. Gia always helps me find things I need, her recommendations showed me I had been buying the wrong size pants for myself, and she consistently has a lovely optimistic attitude. She should be promoted because she has treated me with more patience and kindness than any of the other staff there and has also provided advice which led to me buying more clothes than I had...
