Going Out of Business Furniture & Mattress — Attraction in Augusta

I was pleasantly suprised when I wondered in. The proprietors were still putting out merchandise when I walked in. But they were eager to assist me in my endeavor. Pricing is wonderful but remember you are nor in a high end furniture store. I did see some excellent pieces that were priced moderately and very functional. When I went in there was just one sales associate so please be patient when going in. Take your time and browse as much as you like. I'm sure there's something in there that will strike your fancy. BUYER BEWARE!!!I bought a mattress today. I was told by the sales associate that they were overstock from the manufacturer or other furniture stores, like Ashley or rooms to go. That couldn’t be further from the truth! When I got it home and on my bed frame I notice a yellow tag that stated “This article contains all second hand material …”. What I got was a grubby, used mattress complete with the previous owner’s lipstick stains, dirt, and god only knows what else. Shame on Overstock and its unethical practices and shame on the sales associate who sold it to me, knowing it’s not Overstock, but instead used. I’m out $500 bucks and stuck with this...

The manager they currently have on duty is a jerk. My experience was horrible. I chose a mattress set that was on floor stock to sell, but the manager said "no" and tried to load a dirty mattress on my truck instead of the one I chose. The sales woman was very helpful and kind and could not understand why he did not want to give me the mattress I chose. Overstock needs to check their management. He lost the sale of a set of mattresses because of his "six year of experience" rather than to give the customer what they were willing ro pay for. Bad business...
