I started going to the Kebab Shop when I was stationed in Cali. I loved it - I love Mediterranean food. I think you have some healthy options which I love.

Now let me get to the downtown Austin location: Food: very good. I do the bowl with grilled chicken kebab, saffron rice, Greek salad, spicy hummus, falafels and add the garlic yogurt as well as the cilantro sauce. Sauces are really good!!

Service: you have the option to order at the register or on your own (they have a kiosk by the register.

Atmosphere: there’s a dining area it is spacious. Unfortunately the last few times I have been there customers dining in play videos loud which is rude. Not everyone wants to hear what you’re hearing or watching.

Food is good, parking can suck depending on the time of day and you have to pay to park not sure about the weekends.

I think it’s a great option if you are looking for a healthy option and they are quick with your order....

Went and checked this place out today and WOW! Austin's Mediterranean food scene struggles in my opinion. Either you have places with incredible food but less than decent atmosphere or you have the atmosphere and just ok food. Well, this place has both. We had the plates: mine with Greek salad, lamb and beef and falafel and my wife had the salad, chicken donner and hummus. All were excellent and the service was cheerful, welcoming and quick. Music (eclectic modern/alt rock mix) was really good too. We will be back as we crave Med food often. Next time I will probably try a wrap. I saw one awaiting pickup and it is absolutely big enough to eat half and have...

Dear store owner, I placed an online order tonight on your store website (NOT doordash) at 7:29 pm; ETA for delivery was 8:12 pm. I called your store after waiting for an hour and your night shift manager told me that he is NOT responsible if the courier does not show up.

I told him we will pick up the food and asked if he can refund the delivery charges. His response - 'I am not sure how to do it.' I politely asked him if there was anyone else at the store that can help me; His response - ' Call the store owner or something if you have any further questions'

My husband had to go pick up the food in a rush before your store...

This was my first time here and most certainly will not be my last. Especially since it's so close to home. I ordered the lamb kebab plate with tabouli and spicy hummus. I always say, you know it's good a Mediterranean place when the tabouli is on point, and it absolutely was. The hummus was perfect, and the pita was just right for it too. Last but totally not least, the kebab was phenomenal! With those sauces they have there, so delicious! The service was friendly and effective. As for the atmosphere, I enjoyed the mid-2000s hip hop playlist they had playing. Those were my jams!

As the only halal things on the menu are the lamb/beef gyro I opted for the wrap with fries and meat over fries. The fries are really nice as they are light and crispy while the wrap is a very generous size. What really makes this place are the sauces since the food isn’t very tasty nor bland either it’s right in the middle of the scale. The three sauces (spicy cilantro, garlic yoghurt and a chilli sauce) are all 10/10. Even at other food trucks I haven’t had sauces that taste anything like this. Overall this place is a 7/10. I spent $29 on these two items and a bottle of coke

Two first's today at Kebab. Dined on the patio and tried a wrap. It was such a beautiful sunny day and its not crazy hot outside quite yet. Nice little patio to enjoy lunch and people watch. I went with the Rice Rice Baby Wrap with Steak and added Spicy Hummus. Super refreshing and the steak was very tender and juicy. I only was able to eat half as the wrap is HUGE, but i like that the wrap flatbread is on the thinner side and not super filling. Don't forget to pair it with their yummy sauces. My fav's are the O.G. Yogurt and Cilantro Jalapeno.
