If I could give negative stars I would. I only write reviews when I’ve had a bad experience. And this company man… listen. They lie. They told me 385$ for my Cadillac. It runs and they didn’t even have to tow it.. 385$ I tried for more. After them scheduling for one day. No one ever showed up. And this was Mother’s Day. Wasted that day waiting on no one. They said the driver had issues. (I have all screen shots for proof of all of this) I called the company that peddle was gonna use. They were closed that day. So I wasted Mother’s Day waiting on a company that wasn’t even open. So the next day the company comes. They were full on haggling me for less money. They lied to me and tried to say 250$ because my cats had no catalytic converter‘s. So of course I got down on the ground with my iPad in my hand to take pictures. To show this man that not only do I have catalytic converter, but I have two of them and then they tried telling me that they were pre Catalytic converter’s, and then they tried saying that they were aftermarket catalytic converter’s. They finally took my car after paying me 300 cash and a promise of paddle to send me the 85$ via check. So I waited probably a week nothing came so I wrote them and they said they would check into it. They messaged back and said that the company that came and got my car never came and got my car. So I sent them screenshots and videos of my five security cameras that show the entire incident. I got nothing in response to that so I wrote a rude email because I was pissed. And then they just sent me my receipt for $300. So it looks like I’m out the $85 if they promised in order for the car to even leave my property. This company has built its name on a structure of lies. I’ve never delt with a company like this. Bold faced lying. I strongly suggest NO ONE use this company. Or be subject to lies and them finding a way to get Cadillacs for 300$ is everything a scam now a days? Sheesh! **Edit** peddle did make things right. They paid what was owed, and a bit extra for the inconvenience. I changed my review from 1 star to 3. Thanks again peddle for making things right. You didn't have to. But you did. And it's appreciated very much!!

There are a lot of one-star reviews on here, and a lot of five-star reviews. Basically here's a rundown, when you go through peddle, they refer you to a secondary company, and then the third company, and then finally the tow truck company. In between these four different companies they do not communicate properly all the time. You can absolutely end up having your check bounced a week later after you've already spent some of the money possibly, putting your account into the negative. It happened to me and it apparently has happened to a lot of other people on here too dealing with peddle, in fact if you Google it even the AI chimes in saying that peddle is known for these kind of problems. After they came and towed my truck, I kept getting all these calls and messages from Peddle asking me to schedule my pickup! And sure enough, when I tried telling them that they'd already picked it up they said they had no record of picking it up. Which of course put me into panic mode...thinking the checks going to bounce. I was on the phone for 2 days in a row with four different companies, two of which said they had no record of the transaction and two of which assured me everything would be fine. 5 days later, the check bounces in my account goes into the negative $200. And my truck is already been auctioned away so there's technically no record of it either. When I asked them how exactly I'm supposed to get this money back, they don't have an answer! Probably because they can't technically just sit there and tell me to sue them. But I imagine that's what a person in my position would have to do. Hopefully I'll be able to get this sorted out without it having to come to that. And I'm not even trying to be threatening, I don't want to have to go through a bunch of litigation and time and BS and excuses and waiting and passing the buck and getting enraged even further. I'll say this though, with all the companies out there offering this service there's really no good reason to go to Peddle when they've obviously got an issue that occurs frequently enough that it's literally rolling the dice, gambling thousands of dollars to go with Peddle. It's a risk I'll never take again.

I absolutely love this company. I will not lie. I was skeptical. I was terrified that it was some sort of scam and I was convinced that they were gonna get me because the process was so quick and painless. It seemed too good to be true. I literally put my car information into the website got an offer the next day. I accepted it and the very next day they came and got my vehicle and brought me a nice little check. As I was watching the man, beautiful man by the way, he was just absolutely patient and just amazing. I didn’t catch his name but tow truck Guy you are awesome! Anyway, as I was watching this lovely man put my vehicle on the back of his tow truck and I’m holding a check in my hand and nice check by the way I’m still trying to convince myself that it’s a scam right so I looked up their bank so I could go to their bank to cash it the closest bank to me with an hour away. I drove an hour away still thinking this is a scam, but it was not. I went right to the bank cashed my check and came home. It was quick. It was painless. It seemed too good to be true, but it is very real and I suggest that anyone who wants to sell a vehicle and you don’t even wanna leave the comfort of your own home. Call them because they don’t lowball they really compensated me well for my vehicle.

Exceptional Experience (I encourage you to read full review)

At first glance I was really unsure about using Peddle. My wife and I recently went to get her car inspected in NY and unfortunately it failed the inspection to the point that the repairs were well over the cost of the vehicle.

The following day I called are local company that will buy your junk car and they offered us $200. To get that offer I had to go to their website and input all of my cars information to get my free quote “now”... after filling everything out I still had to give my contact information for them to call me which took 4 days to get the value.

Now the good stuff. Somehow my wife was talking to one of her clients and the subject of junking a car came up and her client mentioned Peddle and how they had a good experience. Still unsure about this information I looked at reviews myself and saw that everything seemed legitimate as I have never heard of them and when I asked some of my family and friends they never heard of Peddle before. I decided it couldn’t hurt to see what they may offer.

I went to their website and followed the very easy instructions and got an offer of $440 which was more than double what my local company offered. I know I’m not talking about a large amount of money here but this amount is for a 20 year old Toyota Yaris with a rusted out frame and can’t pass an inspection. I still wanted to ask Peddle a question about my Title but unfortunately their office was closed for the day so I just saved the quote and would do a chat session with them the following day (I always prefer chat to calling so it’s nice that’s an option).

The next day I check my email and had an email from Peddle stating that based on market conditions they can now offer $475 (I was already going to accept the $440 so an extra $35 was great). I started a chat and had my answer about my Title solved within 30 minutes (which was mostly delayed because I wasn’t paying much attention and I missed a response from them and lost track of time). I accepted the offer and they scheduled a tow truck to pick my car up the next day. Within 20 minutes I got a call from the tow company confirming my address and they gave me an exact time he would arrive.

The two truck driver arrived at the agreed time and he verified my paperwork. He then wrote the check for $475 and gave to me as I gave him my keys. He then loaded my car and left. The driver was very professional and the process was very smooth.

I then went back into my house and decided to mobile deposit the check and again to my surprise my bank immediately approved the check.

Overall this was a phenomenal experience and never had a single problem. I highly recommend Peddle and if I ever have the need to junk a car I would...

I was going to wait until after this process is completed to leave a review, but I realized no matter what happens my experience will still be labeled as disappointing. I like to be ahead of most things, so I called the carrier selected for me about 35 minutes before the start time of the pickup window to ensure everything was fine. They then informed me that they were experiencing technical difficulties with the truck and were not sure if they’d be able to pick up the vehicle within the time frame due to having trouble getting assistance repairing the truck over the weekend. I informed them of my time constraints and that if this isn’t done by Monday, it would be another 2 weeks before I had time within the window provided to get this taken care of. That’s when they suggested they come Monday at 7:00 am IF they were unable to complete the scheduled pickup at the original time. My question and concern for them was how would this be possible if you weren’t able to get the proper repairs done on Saturday? If they couldn’t fix it on Saturday, Sunday repairs couldn’t be possible. It all felt like a lie from both Shoemaker and Peddle. I contacted your customer service department BEFORE the scheduled pickup to discuss my options or hopefully reschedule with a company for the same day, but all agents were unhelpful and told me to call them back after the company PEDDLE booked did not care to pick up my vehicle or call to update on the issue. Just like many of the customers you service, I work and I can not afford to take off work if the people you all contract out aren’t willing to follow through on jobs accepted. My time was taken advantage of. If the carrier could not handle the job, they should’ve communicated that with Peddle since you all booked them for me. The same carrier chosen was still open the entire time of my pick-up window taking orders and servicing other clients. That carrier chose to push my business to the side instead of honoring the agreement and you all allowed this to happen while instructing employees to tell the customer to do the work of the very agents you all pay to assist the clients. So far, I’m unimpressed with how the situation has been handled by the people I trusted with my business. Recommending either of these companies to my community members seems unlikely at this point. 1 star simply...

My pickup was rescheduled without notice after waiting for 3 hours. I hate you

EDIT: In regards to your response, I have had two equally frustrating experiences in the 48 hours since posting this original review. On the phone, one of your representatives allowed me to reschedule for this Monday the 26th. Then when I informed him it was memorial day and asked if this would still be possible he seemed unsure, put me on hold, then told me the contracted tow company was not answering the phone but that I should assume the appointment was still happening. Then 24 hours later, surprise surprise just as I had insisted to him, I received a text that no, the tow service is not open memorial day and I would not be having my car picked up. So, this resulted in a third call and rescheduling and a request for a different tow company. That date was today, 5/21 which you have mentioned but hey by the way, is not tomorrow as you seem to suggest. I waited for 4 hours in the agreed upon window of 7am to 11am and absolutely nothing happened. No phone call, no text, no information. When I called your company back they asked me to wait 30 more minutes at which point I asked why I should believe that would make any difference after all these problems. They then put me through directly to the tow company which was scheduled today and if that's your idea of customer service I would ask why I should be contacting your company in the first place instead of this towing business from the start. The woman who worked for the tow company told me that Peddle is a huge problem for them as well, that my picked-up was scheduled after hours yesterday and was never going to be possible today. A tow truck driver has personally shared my above sentiment that he hates you and is forced to work with you. Not only will I not be using your service again, I will insist to anyone I get the chance to that they absolutely should not do business with you. You have wasted over 9 hours of my life and your response to this review is not even qualifying as the bare minimum. You still after all this time do not have your dates correct and your appointments accurate, even in an apology. You are unprofessional and an embarrassment and I regret ever...
