My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience here! Slurpin Ramen is conveniently located in Mount Vernon Marketplace, which hosts many food options. We were visiting Baltimore for a few days and decided to come to the Marketplace to see if there was any good food. We both love ramen, so we decided to give it a try! Initially, though, we were a bit hesitant. The reviews weren't exceptional (at the point of viewing, Slurpin Ramen had 3.9 stars here on Google), but we decided to give it a try anyways.

I ordered the Meatless Ramen (as I am a vegetarian). I customized it a bit. My girlfriend ordered the Shoyu Ramen. The lady at the counter was extremely friendly! She gave us a buzzer, and we went to our table. When the buzzer went off, we went to the counter, and the same lady was carrying our bowls on a tray. I reached out to grab it, but she insisted on bringing it to our table for us! This gesture was super kind, especially considering the Marketplace is more of a foodcourt than a restaurant.

The ramen itself was very good! The broths for both the meatless and the shoyu ramens were fantastic, and the noodles were perfectly cooked! Both my girlfriend and I wished that there were a few more toppings on our ramen—maybe some bok choy, bamboo, or kikurage mushrooms—but the simplicity was in itself very good! My tofu was very good. While we were eating, the lady came over to our table and asked us how everything ones. My girlfriend asked for the broth to be less salty—which it was—and when the lady came back over to us, she specifically asked if the broth was okay!

I go to and review a lot of ramen places. You might think that since I am a vegetarian, all of the ramen I get—regardless of the place—will be the same. However, I have found that some places make vegetarian ramen better than others. Although I mentioned that it would have been good if there were some more toppings and vegetables, I have had many other good ramens that were even more simple than Slurpin Ramen's!

Overall, I thought the ramen was superb. The service was great, the pricing was fair, and the atmosphere of the Mount Vernon Marketplace was also nice! If I am ever in the Baltimore-area again, I will certainly...

We are from New Hampshire in town for the yankees at orioles game. We decided to walk a half mile approx. to this ramen noodle place from our hotel. WOW just an amazing experience. This noodle station is located inside an indoor market place with many different eateries. The kind and thoughtful hostess here helped us chose what we wanted. We chose the short ribs and chicken ramen bowls. Deeeeeelicious!!! OVER THE TOP FLAVORFUL YUMMINESS. Ribs and chicken were tender and tasty. The broth was tasty but not salty or creamy, PERFECT. The ramen noodles were al dente. 🤤The attention to detail was evident with every bite and slurp. This is a true hidden gem of a place in our opinion. Clean, tidy, cozy and modern. Just a great relaxed atmosphere. This should be a must goto for any noodle lover as we are. the employees and owner of this establishment should be mighty proud of...

Out-of-town visit to Baltimore on business, had lunch at Slurpin Ramen on my 2nd day. Being a lover of noodles I took an extra portion of ramen and chose the Shoyu Ramen bowl. The soup base was very good, could do better being hotter temperature-wise, otherwise no complaints. Only exception, was the extra noodles that may not have been flashed boiled to rinse off excess baking soda, that gave it a funky taste. Got to chat for a awhile with the owner, Angelica (I think), a very friendly lady that loved customer feedback and the knowledge of doing what she loves! I would recommend everyone to try the authentic ramen...

I’ll admit I was skeptical of what looked like a ramen place tucked deep into Clarksville commons. Looked very fast-foody. I was so so wrong. I could say “a picture is worth a thousand words”, but don’t think that’s enough justice. Saw what a wood ear mushroom looks like, and tastes awesome actually. The broth was semi buttery but pleasant consistency. The noodles were bundled just enough where you could pick them apart with chopsticks. From the ingredients to presentation, just really delicious and awesome ramen. The gyoza were also very solid too. Don’t sleep on it. Might kick yourself later.
