There is a significant flaw in how they obtain 4+ Star reviews. If you’re coming here please wait until you get your product before giving them a review on how well they took your order. Ill explain why.
This was my 2nd time coming here for a suit and my second purchase. This time it was the same thing, “if you like how we did please give us a 5 Star review.” But I would never do this no matter where I was. It’s like reviewing a restaurant after placing your order because the server was nice.
I ordered a suit and the process seemed smooth. I waited patiently (around 10 days) for my order and decided to call to check in hopes of finding out when my order would arrive. This is when the issues started.
I was told over the phone that my order was cancelled because the gentlemen who placed my order shouldn’t have made the order because the measurements he submitted are not in range for the jackets. Now wouldn’t you think this would be something you’d call the customer about immediately? Not in this case. I only knew because I called. I was also told the owner had already made a choice of a possible replacement suit that he wished to share with me. AGAIN no one called to tell me anything, but decisions were being made. I was also informed that the gentleman who did this was in training. In training BUT ALONE?
There were details I asked about the try on jacket that the young lady refused to check, such as the size of the jacket I tried on to help- me make my decision. The jacket I tried on was the exact jacket I ordered but she assured me there was no way for her to know what I tried on because she wasn’t there despite me telling her this information. Again she reiterated someone would call me. So, I waited for a call and never got one and decided to go up there and as I was walking in the door and older woman happened to be calling me.
She explained that the issue wasn’t that the suit jacket couldn’t be purchased BUT there was supposed to be a special order submitted. She also told me the special order would be submitted and it should be back before my event date, which was one week away. I expressed my concerns as the suit would certainly need to be tailored. It was presented to me that they had a partnership with a tailor to address these types of issues and there would be no additional cost for a quick turnaround job.
FINALLY, I went back to get the suit I ordered. I walk in to get my suit and guess who’s there? The SAME guy alone who messed up my order before. I grabbed my things that he placed in a travel bag, but I needed to make sure everything was ok. For some reason I felt the need to take pictures of the pants and the tag for the pants. I look at the pants and you guessed THE WRONG PANTS. I went back and he handed me the “correct” pants and I walked out.
I ran over to the tailor she starts working on the jacket and when I go to put on the pants, I couldn’t even get them up my thighs. The tailor says, “oh no no no too small”. I run back to the store and let the guy know and he gives me a similar pair, but they weren’t exact because the tag SKU was different, but at this point I had no choice since I left for the airports in 3 hours. I got the pants measured and the tailor tells me there is an extra fee for same day.. I was shocked to hear she has No arrangement with that company for special request.

Called @ 4 week mark and was told 4-6 weeks for custom suits… called back @ 6week mark and was told my suit did not come in yet should be any day they would call me. Called back again after hearing nothing and was told my suit was never ordered….this was the week before my wedding…they tried to rush the suit it would arrive 8/20 but I was flying out that day for my destination wedding in Cancun…they gave a suit from another location and attempted to do alterations and I was going to have my sister pick up the suit I ordered if it made it on 8/20 to bring with her incase I could still use blazer and vest…fast forward it’s 8/20 I’m in Mexico I have the back up suit they gave me but had to pay $275 to have rush alterations done but when I called to see if my custom suit made it b/c I would have my sister pick it up and bring it down with her I was told the suit did come in but the lapels was Navy instead of Black 😂😂😂💔…so I proceeded got married in a back up suit that I really wasn’t happy about I just needed something and when I returned I went back to “The Gentlemen’s Club” to ask for a refund on my custom suit and say that it was already on the floor on display and was told I wouldn’t be given a refund b/c they gave me the backup suit which Blum sure was less money b/c I paid more for a custom …..Just don’t Shop here or only work with Irv Worst experience ruined my wedding day for me but my Wife was happy…pics of what I ordered...
Read moreI have purchased and have been fitted for suits throughout my life. I know, when a tailor knows, what he's doing and I know what good customer service looks like. This place does NOT have that. As soon as I walked in the door, no one greeted me (first red flag) I'm sorry if you have to stop what you're doing to do your job. Their shop was empty and there were two men working it; it's not like it was busy. I went there for the four suits for $149 a month, which is a good deal, I'll give them that, but the two men working there were very unhelpful in selecting a suit, and the man who was measuring me kept trying to put me in jackets that were too tight, even after he measured me! (second BIG red flag), you just measured me and you're putting me in three different jackets that are too tight?? Come on guy, wake up! lol Finally, the third red flag, was putting me in a pair of pants that were way too big for me, he did that, once again, after he measured me! He told me, "well you would have to get these altered." I was like, no kidding! After that, I left, and wished them a good afternoon. I'm sorry but if you do not look confident in your job, I do not feel confident in doing business with you. I do NOT recommend this...
