Swagath Indian Grocery and Restaurant — Attraction in Bellevue

Firstly the food isnt all that bad. Whats pathetic is the Service. I was standing in line waiting for some one to take my order and there seems to be a Single lady present at the desk. The Problem was that she did not even bother getting my order for about 15 minutes. The order was pretty simple.. It was just Dal and fry curries. Let me explain that these are not Curries made for Order. This is plain Dal and fry curries which are already prepared before hand like the curry points we have in India

She took another 20 minutes to simply pack the Dal and Fry which were already prepared. Its not as if they were busy and this is not the first time this happened to me and this is not even a complex order.

Took me 45 minutes to just pack Dal and Fry which was already prepared. Taste is not bad but not great either. But if I have to wait 45 minutes every time to simply get Dal and Fry especially when there is not even a lot of customers waiting, I would rather not...

Never buy any product from them. They have the worst customer service. They sell packed food products which has no manufacturing/packaging/expiry date and if you question then they put the blame on other Indian stores. Price of same product in different Swagath stores will be different. I bought Masala Oats and in a week its price changed from 5.99 to 7.29 and it does not have any packaging date stamped on it. On further enquiry, got to know only Bellevue store has increased the price. At redmond store it was still priced at 5.99. Many a times they show discount on the store but will not apply it at the time of billing and only when u cross check your bill(which we rarely do) u will realize.Not...

Worst experience ever! I ordered chapatis pack to go. They packed and gave me frozen Chapatis. I checked at home and saw half cooked frozen chapatis. They should have told that we do not provide prepared chapatis, instead packed and charged me for frozen uncooked chapatis. Check the pics for proof. It seems like this so called indian restaurant need serious food inspection by authorities just like Mayuri and should not be allowed to open unless they clear the inspection. P.S. I do regularly get prepared chapatis pack from Chaat House and never had any complains. This was my first time order at Swagath. Chapati pack is not present on the menu, but I asked if they provide. Highly disappointed...
