Our journey to find the perfect engagement ring led us to Saxons (after visits to several different jewelers in Bend and Portland), and we couldn't be more delighted with the remarkable experience we had. From the moment we stepped into the store, we knew we had found something truly special. We were greeted with a drink and once they found out we were engagement ring shopping they wanted to know more about us before even talking rings.
The highlight of our experience at Saxons was undoubtedly their exceptional and highly personalized service. From the very beginning, they took the time to understand our vision, preferences, and budget. We spoke to a few people at Saxons and had an amazing experience with all, but it was Emily that got us to the finish the line.
We were customizing a ring because we were using some family diamonds and many jewelers would not use them in their rings. We are very indecisive, detail-oriented, over thinkers so going custom was very daunting to us. Emily guided us through every step of the design process. We showed her pictures and looked at rings in store, and talked about parts of the rings we liked and disliked. We didn’t even know exactly what our vision was or how it would all come together, just all the individual pieces we liked and disliked.
She took all that information and drew us an amazing intricate design and found a jeweler she felt confident could handle the task. She explained the pros and cons of each choice, ensuring we made informed decisions that suited our taste and style, and was transparent with any concerns. Then it came to the center stone (again indecisive over-thinkers). She answered all of our rounds of questions, helped us make decisions, and was very patient with us. This process would have been so much longer without her help. We were a little concerned that the bride-to-be wouldn’t see the final product of the ring until the proposal (our choosing), but Emily assured us she would do an extremely detailed inspection to make sure that it was not only exactly what we discussed but also that it met/exceeded her standards of quality, craftsmanship, and durability.
The engagement has now taken place, and we could not be happier with the ring. We can't wait to go thank her in person and show her the ring on in the coming weeks. She helped us create our dream engagement ring and turned it into a stunning reality. What truly sets Saxons apart is their commitment to making the entire experience unforgettable. Now we laugh and say we feel we should be inviting Emily to the wedding, that’s how personable and enjoyable the experience was!

Credit is due to my amazing husband for orchestrating my anniversary gift, but he could not have done it without the expertise and discretion from the Saxon’s team. Rob has been so helpful when he’s shopped for gifts for me, so Hubby reached out and made an appointment with him to shop for our anniversary. Of course without me knowing this, we popped in to get my existing wedding ring cleaned and freshened up with white gold. While we were there Ciera helped me window shop (or so I thought) for a new wedding band to stack with my original ring. Ciera was phenomenal to work with! She really listened to me and what I liked, offering great suggestions I would not have thought of on my own, but still keeping with my desired style and look. I also felt like she had nothing more important to do than help me find my perfect jewelry! I ended up finding “the one” - I got tears in my eyes! Thinking we’d be purchasing some time in the farther future, I asked for the ring info and she added it to the notes in my account. After that, Hubby secretly showed up to meet with Rob at his appointment and he sealed the deal! Not only that, but with our anniversary fast approaching, the jewelers worked extra hard to coordinate getting my original ring finished in time for our special date! And then I was given the most amazing surprise when my husband pulled out a small Hearts On Fire box and the diamond band I had chosen! Read moreMy wife commissioned Saxons to make my wedding ring. We gave them plenty of time, around about 6 whole months. We even provided them with an image of the ring exactly as we desired it. Not only did they make the ring wrong twice before we got it, We thought this was strange because all they had to do was reference the image we provided and it seems they just didn't look but they failed to get our ring made in time for our wedding so I got married without my ring. As an apology, they brought a bottle of champagne, We thought this was funny because we had told them that we don't drink. The ring is still wrong though. The stones appear like pupils in an eye as you will see in the image I link which is incorrect and I don't have the heart to tell my wife that I hate it. Additionally, The pattern of thorns around the circumference of the ring is wrong. I don't want to send the ring back again because 3 times they have failed and I'm not sure that they're capable of making it correct. There are some recessed portions in my ring that have blackening that we requested be sealed so it would last longer. When they delivered the ring, after out marriage, we found that the ring had not been sealed. After a month and a half, most of the blackening is already gone. We decided it wasn't worth returning to Saxon's to request the ring be fixed again. My wife and I really regret having gone to saxons for my wedding ring. We paid a premium price for the ring, some 4 months of her wage and we were really let down.
