Stopped by while in town and there were less than 10 vendors. It was around 7 am so it might of been too early. One of the vendors mentioned that Tuesdays are more popular and the market is packed. I'm actually looking for a vendor that was there this morning. I bought some infused honey and I would like to buy more but I didn't get a name. Does anyone know who the vendor is that sells this honey? (Black garlic honey, ginger lemon and turmeric honey)
Also, I was happy seeing some veggies I had never seen before- white squash and purple peppers. I'm looking forward to making some meals...
Read moreAwesome! Had a wonderful encounters with a couple of the vendors, One woman even blessed me with a spider plant when I was buying my lucky bamboo And gave me a hug. There are still good people out there that genuinely care about one another, She also bakes some fantastic looking breads and desserts but we won't go into that ! Then there were the shroom people if you're in the mushrooms you gotta check these guys out. Lots of fruits and vegetables all fresh the people are good on is working people so instead of going to the supermarket next time try the farmer's market on Tuesdays...
Read moreOpen every Tuesday and Thursday morning throughout the year (though the market may be off if the weather is freezing), the Biloxi Farmers' Market is tucked up under the elevated I-110 in a nice shady spot. if you want fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs and peppers for Mexican or Vietnamese cooking, this is a good place. it's also a place to get already washed and cut collards, fresh mustard greens, shelled peas, and all the other veggies for fresh Mississippi country cooking. Jams and jellies and all sorts of garden plants too, y'all, as well as friendly conversation....
