We recently moved into town and my boyfriend recommended this “awesome” new dispensary to me, that he had just been to the day prior. He seemed excited about the place so we went in the very next morning. We had already looked online and had an idea of what we wanted. So we go in. He orders first, then I order right after him. We ended up getting the same exact quarter ounce, priced at 60 which we thought was pretty reasonable. So he pays for his. Then it comes time for me to pay. The bearded man behind the counter try’s to give me a completely different branded item and tries to nonchalantly slip in the fact that this one would be 90 as if there was no issues. My boyfriend over hears this and turns back to the budtender and says, nahh hold on. We’re not paying that, that’s crazy. The budtender responds smugly and says ok well he took the last 60 dollar one. So yours is going to be 90. my boyfriend now visibly irritated responds “ why did the system let her order it if I got the last one. Your inventory being wrong is not my issue as the customer” I had suggested to just price match it since it’s clearly no fault of our own that your computers aren’t up to date on stock. He got even more rude with us and shrugged saying well that’s the price…. But the real kicker here is your employee basicallly agreeeing with us. That we should just go to the rise dispensary down the road…. My jaw dropped, and my boyfriend grabbed my hand and lead me out of the store, empty handed. Not making a single purchase. I could see the frustration on his face because he was clearly excited to show me this dispensary and we really wanted to like the place. But instead they gave us the worst customer service experience of any dispensary that we have ever visited…. Needless to say nightjar has Managed to lose 2 brand new and LOCALLLL customers within a 24 hour span. Maybe the kid was having a bad day but regardless that’s no excuse for garbage service. There are many other dispensaries in Bloomfield/belleville that deserve your business, night jar is not one of them! Yesterday was my first experience coming to this dispensary, and I actually had quite the pleasant experience. So much so that I decided to come back the next day and bring my girlfriend! Wow That was a mistake. The way these employees customer service did a complete 180 in a 24 hour span Is insane. I made my purchase and my girlfriend ended up purchasing the same item, once i paid for my item which was 60 dollars the man tries telling my girlfriend that she has to pay $90 for the same item i just purchasedd 30 seconds before for 60.... i interject and say nahh were not doing that, and he goes ok well thats the price. He tells me that i got the last of the 60 dollar version of that item. And hers will be 90 because apparently its a different brand? I responded quite frankly thats not my problem. He shrugs his shoulders and i said you know what, well just go to the rise dispensary down the street, he tells me "ok. Go ahead"...... i never ran out of an establishment quicker then i did today. The bearded man behind the counter was very rude, and tried taking advantage of my woman. Any other dispensary would have just price matched the item because obviously your inventory in your system being off, is not the problem of the consumer. But instead he choose to be rude and snobby basically telling us to go to there competitors? That is wild to me in 2024 where there's so many options for dispensaries in this town. You could throw a rock and hit 4 different dispensaries?? Loosing first time customers like this is crazy work. Keep this up and you won't be in business much longer. Shame on nightjar and it's employees for providing the worst customer service at any dispensary in North New Jersey. If your reading this, do yourselves a favor, go to the apothecareum or even rise, but don't come here. These people don't deserve Bloomfields business. ...

However, schedules collide and things happen so it’s great to be able to run into a dispensary and grab weed. That’s what happened on Tuesday evening. I went into this beautiful dispensary. The ambiance and the service was great. I go to the kiosk, of course it’s double what I pay for an 8th. Cool. I’m uncomfortable paying more for mid. So I saw “store pick” which was on sale for $37.00 and I got that. Left a tip. Idk the name of the flower but it really doesn’t even matter atp. I’m calling it ARIZONA. Because that’s what it gave., got in the house thinking I was about to relax, only to bust that bag open and find SEEDS??? Seeds??? Sweetie, I haven’t picked seeds out of a blunt since my junior year of high school. There were so many seeds in the weed. It was unbelievable. My thing is, who picked this? Why aren’t you warning ppl? The man had to have known that was some Reggie. It’s 2024, no one smokes like that so it’s not even expected. That bag should’ve been free, respectfully.
