I'm editing my review of Ideal Image, Boulder and Westminster. I don't normally give bad reviews. I've always felt that if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all, but the public needs to know about this terrible business. After several high pressure phone calls and emails from Ideal Image, I joined through a Black Friday sale. I bought a lazer hair removal package. My first couple sessions at the Boulder location were great. Everyone was very nice, I was hopeful about my results. Results aren't guaranteed, and after several visits, my results are just "meh". Definitely not worth the money I spent, but that's not the reason for changing my review. My negative experience is due to the nurses having to constantly cancel and reschedule due to needing to go to "training". My work schedule makes rescheduling difficult for me. I understand that life happens and I'm pretty flexible over all, so I went along with it. Only to receive a voice message telling me that I better hurry in to finish my treatments because my membership was about to expire. No one ever told me there was an expiration date on my membership, especially since treatments need to be spaced out to do the hair growth cycle, and the nurses were the ones needing to reschedule. That wasn't me. I was being flexible to help them out. I rushed back in to get my treatmen, only to be told that it wasn't really expiring after all. Then I got my treatment with a diffent nurse, which was frustrating because I wanted to stick with the same nurse who knew me and my treatment areas, but a couple days later, it seemed as though some areas were missed, so I called the office to see if they could take a look. Long story short, I got there, they took me back only to find out they thought I was someone else, took me back out to the waiting room, then later took me back in again, rushed me through another process, and we're very rude to me. I won't go into all the personal details, but I don't ever want to see that nurse again. Now I found out that a bunch of their nurses quit the Boulder location, along with the office Manager. The front desk girl was also very snotty. I talked to the new Boulder Manager to see if we could get back on track, she was very nice, but very new, and still trying to figure everything out herself. They are very short staffed at the Boulder location, and they only have one nurse working there, so they scheduled me at the Westminster location, which is very far away. and not convenient for me at all. I spoke to the "General Manager" at the Westminster location, her name is Val. I explained my whole frustration with my experience, and my deep regret for buying this membership. I explained that this hadn't been the positive, pampering, self care experience that I was promised, and I just wanted out. She said she couldn't get me out of the membership because too much time had passed. (Not my fault that the nurses kept rescheduling, and quiting, and couldn't fit me in) but she did offer me a different treatment. I'm not feeling great about this solution, because I simply don't trust these nurses, or their skill levels. I definitely don't trust this company to stand by their work, or be there for me if there is a problem. This is a high pressure sales situation, where they want your money upfront, and they don't care about your satisfaction. BTW, now I'm also stuck with a special credit card that can only be used there, and it has an annual fee. If I cancel the credit card, it will ding my credit. So the morale of this story is simply, don't trust this company. If a company doesn't make you feel valued, protected, or heard, don't give them your money. There are much better places where you can go, that will make women, and men, feel empowered and pampered. Ideal Image isn't that kind of company. If they try to make you feel worse than you did when you came in, that's a big red flag. Ladies, and gentlemen, you can do better. Save your money. Don't go to...
Read moreI love Ideal Image. I had been doing botox here for years and that is always a good experience. It is clean, the nurses and front desk are personable, and I always have all my questions answered. It was a no-brainer to try other services here. When I first signed up to do a laser hair treatment package, a friend gave me a hard time about the price. She said I could do it cheaper through groupons and at some fly-by-night studios, and I am so glad I didn't listen to her. What I paid for was worth every penny. Most of my hair was gone after the second and third time I did my laser treatment and the nurses give great advice on how to maximize my session. Ex. not shaving x days before to target treatment areas when I come.
I had a reaction to the laser the third time I went and I was immediately given medicine to take home, a prescription, and the nurses followed up with me so many times. They were truly concerned about it. I had some marking from sun exposure. The reaction cleared up with the treatment they prescribed and I have since gone back for a few more laser session with no incident. If I had been going to another place with inconsistent staff or had decided to hop around for deals, there would not have been a record for the technicians and nurses to use each time to adjust the laser and treatments to match my skin.
I will say contracts for service to sign up are a bit off-putting but they are clear. They say how you pay and for how many months you receive or get the service.
The service here is always phenomenal from the greeting at the desk to the time in the room. Everyone there is attentive, fun, and very professional. I most likely would not go to any other provider for a treatment that I know Ideal Image provides. I know the service will be good, the price will be comparable to other places, and I will be treated as an individual and taken care of at...
