This store, this store was an absolute, pleasure a joy if you would the items were suffice and exuberant. The stuff was so chilling and frightful it was quite petrifying. As I pranced and danced through the frightful aisles as you will. The spookiness of the store made me feel like a jubilant juvenile again, I felt free as if I was the only one truly there. It felt like I was Jack climbing the bean stalk realizing the wonderful above waiting for me. I then pondered wondering to what to spend my valuable precious earnings on. I felt like Goldy Locks getting the correct celsius of porridge. The air was cold and moist as if I was in a chilling forest. I could hear the cries of children as they galloped away from the bone quaking animatronic s. I must be truthful, honest, and I must contain my composure as I will make a confession, a quite large confession I must say, I was too also quite frightened by the appearances that felt philosophical towards my mind as if I was a well rounded gulf ball about the hit at a record breaking ferocious magnificent grass ripping speed throw the atmosphere into the blue, blue, blue, blue, blue, blue sky. Though I will have to rate this store 4 outflows of energy from the centeral regions since I brought my failed abortion of a child to this coordinate it has not stopped talking about this complex, it got me fired from my job it kept waking me up in the middle of the night wanting to go back. I have not slept in several days and my mental health is decreasing rapidly, It caused me to join a cult. But overall this store is...
Read moreFirst of all, love these stores and Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year as we put up a huge display that has brought people to our neighborhood for years. We look forward to seeing all the little ones, and it is even more fun to see parents bringing their little ones and telling us that their parents used to bring them when they were younger and that our house has become a bit of a tradition. That means a lot, so, we try to avoid over the top scary stuff that may cause the little ones to be afraid, because, after all, Halloween is supposed to be fun. What we have noticed in recent years is a trend going more and more for the scare factor, which is fine and I can appreciate it, but, at the same time, it is just not for our particular setup or display, though we understand others may go with a more scary display and Spirit can surely help you get there. Some of the items for sale are well put together and designed, while others are not quite as well done, and that is to be expected no matter what store you go to. The store on Cortez Road seems a bit more spacious than other Spirit stores, lending to more items and more diversity. There is something for everyone, including us, and each year we see the various displays that Spirit puts out and it gives us some ideas that we can change or tone down for the little ones who make it our way...
Read moreEditing to add, we've since returned to Spirit Halloween and yes, we did infact go to early in the season. There were lots of great Halloween decorations or, plugged in, charged, etc ready to scare you and purchase for your next Halloween party.
Maybe we went to Spirit Halloween too early in the month.
However, one of our favorite and probably only reason to go is to look at and to buy the creepy monsters that are motion activated.
You know the ones that move and scare you.
I am sad to report that they didn't have any on display. They only had a TV to watch what they do.
We really like to see them in action, in real life, so we can think about buying them and adding them to our spooky scary Halloween house.
if that's the kind of thing you're looking for I recommend going to Home Depot. Lots of great...
