This place is ran down and the ladies who worked the ticket counter were less than aware of what was going on in the lobby as well as on site. During a medical emergency they gave my family false information that resulted in a very dangerous situation. I was left for dead at this place. The guests left and the workers closed up shop and went on with their lives knowing a member of a party was unaccounted for and I woke up to a dark lonely golf course, and I was covered in ants and fear. Thankfully I was able to walk to Susie’s frozen treats and get help from a stranger and obtain a ride to someplace almost safe. My health issues aren’t anyone’s problem but the fact that these girls lied to my husband & family and a search wasn’t initiated or authorities weren’t called is just neglectful. Don’t most places take a look around before closing up and rushing on with their agenda? I mean seriously. I don’t know how great the golf is and I don’t really care, it looks run down but I’m dissatisfied with the lack of concern from these people who didn’t mind taking the money for my ticket but certainly minded to give my husband any help locating me and above and beyond that they lied about the last time they saw me. I’m hoping to subpoena camera footage but this janky place probably doesn’t even have any. 5 stars if you love people taking your money and leaving you left for dead on premise and lying to your family. No stars if you believe in customer service...
Read moreA fun time! We arrived later at night to avoid the sweltering heat, which turned out to be a good decision. We played mostly after dark, and the course was nicely lit and the balls are brightly colored and easy to see! There are different sizes of putter available for players of all sizes as well.
There are two courses available, both eighteen holes. They clearly state that only one of these courses is wheelchair accessible, and is better suited for people not comfortable climbing stairs- and for good reason! We played Blackbeard's course, the more difficult course that included stairs, and we had a great time! I definitely recommend being prepared to walk up plenty of stairs if you choose this course, but it's worth it with fun holes, even one on a small pirate ship!
It was pretty crowded as we played, but we were lucky to be around friendly people that made the experience enjoyable! We would...
Read moreSo much fun and a great course! This mini-golf has two courses, one considered more challenging and a second with less stairs and easier. We chose Capt. Blackbeard’s course, which proved to be a very fun 18 holes. Nearly every hole had a unique fun element to it as is in pristine condition. Plaques at each hole tell the story of Capt. Blackbeard which was also very interesting and entertaining. As you begin the course at the bottom, you travel onto the ship, across water and through the waterfall cave. It was very enjoyable and the pricing was also fair, if not a good deal!! (Vs. Orlando, Florida prices re remembered!) There are pirate sets and animatronics in several areas. After you finish and drop off your clubs, head back inside to the large room where you can spin some wheels to find out your pirate name. All in all, we loved this place and can’t wait to go back next time we...
