This place was an absolute nightmare! Booked through Vio, and once we got there to check in, I was told they had absolutely no adjoining rooms (we found out that was a lie). I told them we would not be using the second room, and they told me that they cannot refund me because they don’t get paid through the company that we used?! Then, after getting my 4 children out and our stuff unpacked, my husband stopped and talked to the front desk and let him know this just does not work out because we have 4 small kids, the oldest being 9, so we would not be using the other room. After my husband got back up, the front desk guy came back up and said we had a cancellation, so we can get you those adjoining rooms. So we were moved. Everything was going great with the new rooms until Friday. We went to leave and wanted to make sure both doors to the room were locked. We found the second door did not lock no matter what we did. So again, my husband went down and told them. They told him they would get it fixed, so we left for the day. We came back, and my husband went to check, and the door still did not lock. So he went back down, and they said, “Oh, we cannot get it to work, so we are moving you yet again!” So we moved our stuff to the new room. After that, my husband went to take the older two to the waterpark only to be told that the waterpark is NOT included in the reservation, even though it showed it was supposed to be. Even verified with the company I booked with! But they also told my husband, “Yes, and the breakfast isn’t included.” (Like what hotel has anyone stayed at that the actual pool isn’t included or the breakfast?) My husband went ahead and paid for two wristbands for the kids while I was waiting to talk to Vio.com. Once I heard back, Vio.com told me that management has stated they would refund us for the two wristbands that were purchased. But also proceeded to tell me management told them that we had 8 people in our room. I told the guy from Vio.com this was totally incorrect because with having 4 little ones with us, I would not risk telling on my booking how many were truly with us due to if there was an emergency. So my husband went back down with our 4 kids to talk to them and get the refund. The three guys at the front desk proceeded to tell us that they would just eat the cost for the wristbands because it wasn’t included in our booking, even though it stated they still proceeded to tell us this was incorrect; these booking companies can post whatever they want. Then once they looked at our rate for the night, they said, “Well, you got a really good deal too.” Later came to find out it was only $20 cheaper through Vio than the actual hotel itself! So wasn’t that great! I left there so upset and in tears. They made me and my husband feel like complete idiots. They were so rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone! I will actually warn people of this place because of these three men (including the manager, Tony) who were rude and insulting. But the lady who was the cook, she was...

Read moreThe hotel room was great and the air conditioner was amazing but the water park was apparently closed and would reopen in 2 weeks but on their website it still says that the water park included except when we pulled up to the hotel, we saw a sign that said "Water park opening soon" in small letters on the billboard. Sure I was disappointed but they at least led us to an outdoor pool across the street which was okay. Again, the reason my family booked this place was because of the water park perks. (I believe my family was here a few years ago when it was still open, that's why we chose to come there again) I recommend bringing your own shampoo because it dries your hair out like crazy and makes it feel like dog fur. In the morning we went for breakfast but the lady working for the "restaurant" apparently had barely any sleep because she had to clean up the water park until 3 am. This lady was really sweet and I'm blaming the manager for making hotel staffs clean up the pools until the AM's. The gravy was obviously spoiled, it tasted like vomit. I believe the can was expired and because we were the only ones who ordered it, nobody else knew that it was expired. We asked the lady just in case about the gravy but she broke down in tears and said that she was really stressed because of the hotel inspectors/health inspectors are coming in 2 weeks and asked us if we wanted a fresh plate, we politely declined. I personally really liked the self making pancakes a lot and the food was okay enough. (not the best because it's canned) There was also no toaster...
