The Buffalo Niagara Harbor Cruises Charter Services have hosted our corporate event for the past two years. The service provided is timely, detail oriented, and makes for a stress free and enjoyable experience. I would happily recommend this as an option for a large social gathering.
I’ve worked with Rachel for the last couple of years, and the process is quick and seamless. Contact the charter online, and they will reach out to you to confirm dates, group size and additional amenities like food and drink. I do recommend planning several months ahead, but they have kindly worked with us with less advance as well, which is greatly appreciated.
The staff is courteous and prepared, they coordinate well with each other and with you as the guest, ensuring things run smoothly without being overbearing. Food and drinks are regularly refreshed, leaving any hosts free to mingle without needing to worry about the fine details.
We had one charter with great weather, and another with poor rainy weather. What’s nice about the Miss Buffalo II is she is a fully covered vessel, and the staff was kind enough to deploy plastic curtains to protect us from further wind and rain, while still being able to see outside. They kept the floors as dry as possible.
Rain or shine, this is a unique and relaxing experience that anyone can enjoy, with plenty of space for large groups to wander around, or find a comfortable place to sit and watch the...
Read moreWent as a surprise day-date with my fiance. Unfortunately it was a pretty windy day, even for Buffalo, and was also cooler than it normally is this time of year but that wasn't anyone's fault of course. The cruise was nice with decent views of downtown Buffalo and Lake Erie. The staff was friendly. Boat had ample seating, both "outdoor and indoor", on its upper and lower levels. Only reasons I didn't give 5 stars were because I do think the boat is a tad bit outdated and could use some minor cosmetic upgrades, and I also wasn't "wowed" by the experience altogether. I think this would be a fabulous sailing after sunset with the Beautiful city of Buffalo and it's skyline all lit up. The narration on the cruise was informative and provided current and historic details of the city, its surrounding areas, and also Canada just across the lake. All in all, I would do it again but, perhaps at nighttime when the city is all lit up and, of course, on a night it wasn't so windy. This is something kids would like also, and we will bring our children with us when/if...
Read moreWe went yesterday July 12th at the 6pm cruise.. “Happy hour cruise” NO one was happy, despite fire was the worst Miss buffalo Cruise we were ever on, the music you could barely hear no one was engaging in conversation. The staff were like robots no greetings no nothing. The captain never made any announcements. Never talked about anything about buffalo. It was supposed to be a two hour cruise. We got back to the dock at 7:24 and for the first time I was glad we came back early. It was absolutely a horrible experience we were so bored, as soon as the three of us boarded the boat. we had to use the ladies room oh my God it was absolutely disgusting. We have taken Miss buffalo cruises before and they were always so much fun but it was like a floating morgue. It was so dead. No one was laughing. No one danced well. You really couldn’t dance cause no one could hear the music such a complete and utter...
