Went once last year and had a great time. They are horrible about keeping the community up to date, though. Their social medias say the park is open right now, but they haven’t posted in months, and the park is actually closed right now. Drove out here for nothing, because the gate is chained up despite social media saying it’s open...

Open seasonally, and served by a volunteer group as a key part of Buffalo's waterfront renaissance. I visited during off season so the entry was closed. But I was lucky enough to see it from across the way while exploring another historic site. I recommend visiting the website to plan your trip...
