👎🏻 sadly once you are relocated for work and need to end your membership your account ends up in collections. ✅they should offer a day pass [$50] One of the only gyms with a locker room troika of steam room, sauna, whirl pool and classic old school prison showers. If they offered a Day Pass they could make easily an extra $5,000-$10,000 a month selling them for $35-$50 a pass. Very foolish for them not too as Lifetime Fitness and Equinox make a sizable extra income selling single use Day Passes. (It’s modern way people want options with their finances and also tons of business travelers visit the Burlingame area and they are missing this market and opportunity by not offering a day pass option).

Great club for work out and family friendly staff. Specially Kevin at the front desk. Parking is fantastic. The club should do something about the outdated TV’s of which about half does not even work. They’re paying Comcast $200/month for each 1970’s TV set that sometimes does not even work. The club can purchase new TV’s and just get streaming TV either from google or Apple TV and save thousands of $$$ in monthly cable charges. They can replace each TV with brand new 65inch sets and still save tons of money

Very friendly staff. This club has very nice equipment and a pool. It has several racquet ball courts and a squash court.

I've been a member for about a year. Here is my humble opinion:

Pros: large pool, hot tub and saunas, friendly reception staff, wide range of activities

Cons: Pool gets VERY dirty on Sundays, somebody's hair always sticks to you and one time I saw a guy spitting in the pool. I just left the pool at that point. Group programs: it looks like there is variety, but honestly, only one legit trainer of group programs there is Val. Others that I've tried are just low pace trainers who just CHAT with their fellow attendants about TV shows, news etc instead of focusing on giving a decent training. This is not a book club, ladies! This is a fitness center! I had to move, it happened suddenly, and I had plane tickets booked to provide as a proof that I am PHYSICALLY won't be around. I requested a termination of the contract and still was charged for the full month ahead! I asked a manager (who instantly turned his arrogant and irritated tone on) if he can at least put the last month of freeze (as they do for vacations) so that I pay $25 instead of $105, and he said NO. I changed my card number to not be charged, but they filed me to a collection agency!

Summary: if you want to pay $105 for a dirty pool, lame group classes and get filed to a collectors agency after, here is a place to go. You...

Prime Time is a fantastic gym. It has the only racquetball courts on the peninsula. I'll bet you $10 you can't sneak in or out past the front desk without being welcomed or wished a good day.

Despite being quite busy, I have never wanted for a place to park or had to wait long for a piece of equipment, court, or shower.

The cleaning staff is amazing. They are omnipresent and the place is pretty spotless.

Some machines are showing their age, but most everything feels new which makes me think they have a good rotation of replacing and servicing equipment.

Oh...and heated pool. Not too warm like bath water...or the jacuzzi they have. Warm enough so you're not freezing in the pool on a cold day.

It's worth mentioning that every other patron I've encountered has been nothing less than polite and there are plenty of friendly faces who might say hi. I've also never seen anyone fail to wipe down the equipment after they have used it or leave the locker room in a mess.

I'm very happy to be a member of a gym where both the staff and the members take care of and take pride in the place.

Definitely pricey, but...

Prime Time Athletic Club is a gem for anyone who loves to blend fitness with a touch of indulgence. Swimming in their outdoor heated pool is an absolute joy, especially with the unique bonus of it being located next to the See's Candy Factory, enveloping you in the delightful aroma of hot chocolate as you do your laps. It turns exercise from a chore into a treat! The club doesn't stop at just a fantastic swimming pool; it also offers a hot tub with relaxing jets, a steam room, and a sauna to unwind after a vigorous workout. The fully stocked showers, complete with body gel, shampoo, and conditioner, add a luxurious touch that makes getting ready after a session hassle-free and comfortable.

The only drawback I've encountered is the class schedule, which unfortunately doesn't align well with my work commitments. Despite this, the quality of the facilities and the sheer pleasure of swimming in such a delightful setting make Prime Time Athletic Club a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy their fitness routine in a unique and enjoyable...
