The last few times I went there before Hurricane Ian, I have not done anything other than drop off a package that already has a return label. Each time I've gone to this place just to drop off a package, it's taken more than 10 minutes, or for some reason, they weren't accepting UPS packages at the time because of some complication or the type of package I was trying to send back. The last time was after Hurricane Ian, so I'm trying to give this place the benefit of doubt, but when I went there took 20 minutes, and I was given a lot of runaround about finding my old account or information from the last time I dropped something off, and also the rep had to take care of another customer, as they were the only one on staff. I changed my mind because the rep said UPS wasn't picking up packages from them for the past couple of weeks, and it was reasoned that it was because of Ian. I decided to just schedule the pickup for my house. It took another 10 minutes for them to find the package that I just gave her because they had different piles of different packages. By the time I went back to my car to get the receipt so they can find my package and come back, they finally found my package. It's a mess just to do one simple thing. The rep is a very nice person, but it's worth going somewhere else when all you have to do is drop off your package and be done, and be at a place where there's more than one person on staff. After all, was said and done, I was able to get UPS to do my pickup the very next day without any trouble, even after...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNasty employee, Haley. Their website says they do printing but they do not have any of the standard applications needed to print. I came in this morning with a USB drive in order to print 11 documents (3 word, 8 pdfs) I was told that they havent been able to print from USB and it would be better to email. I left went home to email the documents because I wanted to be certain I included all of them as I was then shipping these documents via fedex. I came back 40 min later....When things started printing and they didn't look right the employee kept arguing that the files were received that way and she was just printing as received. When I asked why 2 pages printed without being cut off, She got an attitude and forcefully turned her monitor toward me to show me that it looked fine on the screen. When I asked if it was an issue with the scaling she stated "I don't know why people think we are a printing store" I advised her the website says that you can print. I went to pull up on the website that states they do "Full service color copies" She then got even more irate and said "I worked here for 9 years. I run the site i know what it says." When I told her I didn't appreciate how defensive she got and that I didnt want what was printed as it was not usable for a proposal, she said "you can leave. You're welcome for not charging you". She then threw the stack of papers at me and said "we dont have a shredder so you can take those" i told her that her behavior was disgusting and that I would be filling...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA very dishonest, price-gouging business. I was told the cheapest way to send my package was $46 (Fed-Ex) . When I asked for other options I was then told I could send USPS in a box that would not fit my contents for $30, so this was not an option. When I asked if they charged a fee, as this sounded very expensive, response was, "this is thru our Fed Ex account". Did not an answer my question though. This transaction did not feel right and I'm glad my intuition kicked in because I went to the US Post Office and I was able to send the same package in 3 days delivery for only $17. They charged 180% more than the post office, a little excessive don't you think? Again, I was offered no other options from the woman at Pack & Send Gifts. As a store that also represents mailing through USPS, I don't think the USPS would be keen to this corrupt way of doing business.
Side Note: While explaining this to the Postwoman at the post office, a man behind me heard it all. After hearing the location, he spoke up and said; Jackie at that store will rip you off, never go there. USPS management has been notified of this...
