If you're looking for a mini golf experience that's part cosmic rave, part haunted house, and 100% ridiculous in the best wayāMonster Mini Golf in Charlotte is your jam. Picture this: you step into a neon-lit cavern where disco balls hang low, monsters wink in ultraviolet splendor, and your neon golf ball practically glows like a wayward UFO.
After channeling my inner fluorescent warrior (thanks, blacklightāwear white if you want to look like a glowstick), I teed off alongside a giant animatronic troll who not only narrated its life story but low-key insulted my swing. My confidence shattered faster than that trollās voice box when I missed a 2-foot putt.
Enter Carrieāthe superhero of the evening. Imagine a gremlin-whisperer meets cosmic tour guide. She appeared in her lab coat (which absolutely glowed brighter than me), armed with a glowing pencil and an arsenal of dad jokes. Need an extra golf ball? Carrie summoned one like Gandalf conjures lightning. Lost in the laser maze? Carrie navigated us out faster than you can say āzombie.ā Kids were high-fiving her, parents were taking selfiesā honestly, Carrie stole the show. She turned a fun night into a legendary tale.
And donāt even get me started on the ride: the troll, the sewer-cap lily pads, the winds blowing you off-course, the clown mouth finaleāitās like Disney and Tim Burton collaboratedā¦after three espresso shots .
Bowling and arcade games were whispering our name next door, but Carrieās caddying spell was so strong we stayed, enchanted, until our club arms achedāand then joined the party room glow-hand extravaganza for a birthday bash we simply couldnāt leave .
Verdict: Monster Mini Golf is the perfect chaos cocktail for couples, kids, and your weird uncle. With blacklight art, moving monsters, and a DJ who spins pure š, itās an 18āhole rave with a side of competitive putt. But the real secret weapon? Carrie. If sheās caddying your night, prepare for laughs, glow-in-the-dark swag, and a story youāll tell for years.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI gave my two grandchildren a party there yesterday. It was the VIM party that cost $499.99 for 25 children. It came with 2 large pizza's.I thought the 2 large pizza's would be enough to accommodate the 25 kids or they would at least tell me that wouldn't be enough. They did order me two more pizza's but it took 2 hours to get it.I had 3 parents and kids to leave without pizza or cake. One child left crying. The party started at 10am and should have been over at noon. However the pizza didn't arrive until 12:15.Some of the kids had to eat cold pizza.Even the Sprite and lemonade tasted terrible. They didn't even take anything off of the price for this awful party. The place itself was fun and the kids loved it.However while we waited I had to keep putting money on a lot of the kids arcade cards because they were bored from having to wait for pizza.Im so unhappy about this!I will never have another party there!
Yes the kids had fun playing mini golf and the arcade. However due to having to wait so long for pizza I spent a lot of extra money on arcade cards because the kids were bored from waiting.Yes it says 2 large pizza's.But this is the only place that gives parties and doesn't give every kid a slice of pizza. That is crazy!!!Some large pizzas are huge and other places they are small. If the party comes with 25 kids then the pizza should be large enough for 25 kids. That is only fair. Then if it's not enough then your staff should have addressed this issue at the time of booking my party. Then I would have either brought my own food or had the party somewhere else. For $500 it should have been enough pizza for each kid to have one slice. You can not justify it not being enough pizza!Even your staff saw three of our guest leave our party. How awful is that?I'm embarrassed!!!You say give you a chance to make this right. How do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEdited to add: The owner of this place called me himself and apologized for the unprofessional behavior of their employees. He expressed that he was embarrassed by their behavior and the employees were reprimanded that this negligence will not be accepted. I was very moved by this gesture of him personally calling me to make it up for it. I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 5 stars just because that he cares about his customers and this could be just a one time bad experience at this place. We celebrated my son's birthday here with their VIM party package which is supposed to be a private party. The place is nice, kids enjoyed a lot. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars because of the staff. They were least interested in taking care of us. I had to go to them every now and then to ask for anything whether it's the tables, disposables, drinks. The moment I entered I would expect that she would ask me what do I need but no I had to go to her. The main girl working there was not friendly at all and made me pay in advance for everything which is fine but then I expect a good service if I am booking a private party with you all. They didn't check on us even once, I had to go to them to ask drink refills. They were supposed to give a tshirt to the birthday boy, they didn't give that either, I had to ask for it. I have always had private parties for my kids at several places and this is the first time I have experienced this negligence for a party costing $600 plus. If there are no other guests in there apart from my party then not sure why the two girls were just standing at the counter instead of looking after us. The management should look into this and I am not recommending this place just for this...
