I believe her name is Digna, she seemed to be a manager. She was so unkind to me as a customer, and also inflexible in trying to resolve my issue. Kohls claims you can get free shipping in an item if you order in store using their app. The app itself was having glitches and was not allowing me to input a shipping address. Digna had no idea how to resolve, so I asked her if she could give me a coupon for free shipping so that I could do finish this at home. She said no, “because you have to be in store to get free shipping”. I explained that’s what am trying to do, but the app is glitching. I then said what about a 25% off coupon to compensate for the shipping (my item was $44 and the shipping was $9). She said “nope, there’s already a discount in the item”. Mind you, she had the most distasteful look on her face and in her tone that basically screamed “I don’t want to be helping you” I get that there was already a discount on the item, but the premise of this is that the store was unable to live up to their promise (free shipping if you order the item in store using the app) because Kohls app was malfunctioning. Digna was inflexible as a manager in solving my issue as a paying customer. Very disappointed in her and her problem solving abilities.
Positive is one of the associates was very kind to me during this trip. I didn’t catch her name; she was working the register and was older and...
Read moreSome in the store are helpful and friendly, others are rude and way less helpful. One women in the Jewelery dept would not fix the batteries in 6 or 7 watches that I brought in for repair. She claimed she could not change them but Macys did; she was simply too lazy. Then, I got into the store on a weekday at eactly 9:00 a.m. when they opened. I go to the kids show and sneaker section, expecting it to be all filled up and neat and orderly from the prior day's shopping. Not. Boxes half-opened, not neat, nothing in order or stacked in the proper section. Worst of all--and I believe this is a problem with retail in general, but they had either low inventory or no inventory of many shoes, in my case sneakers, in the store. I realize the economy is strong, demand often out-strips supply and retailers watch inventory to improve working capital. But if I were a Kohl's regional manager and walked into this store that morning, some dept manager would receive quite the...
Read moreI put in a pick up order and went to get it. I checked in through the app when I arrived like it told me to, but no one came out. I called the store after five minutes, the girl answered the phone while laughing at something, said she’d be right out. I sat there for another 6 minutes, called back again. The girl who answered said she didn’t show my pick up, asked for my order number, and said she’d get it and come out. She brought out my order in a bag that was ripped open down the side. I asked if she wanted to see my barcode, and she said no. So she has no way of knowing if the Fitbit and towels in the bag actually belonged to me, or if she was giving the stuff I paid for to someone who was stealing them. The entire ordeal took 16 minutes to get my stuff after pulling into the pick up spot. Horrible unprofessional and I will NEVER order from this...
