Great experience! Emma, Trinity, and Billy, and the rest of the staff were all awesome!! 👏👏👏

I couldn’t make it in time for the tour but they were able to fit me in for a whiskey tasting! 🙏🙏🙏

I got to try the Silver Whiskey, whiskey 91, whiskey cask 111, batch 030 (honey infused 42.5% ABV whiskey), rye 99, and also two mini cocktails (old fashioned and mule both using whiskey 91) (a total of about 3-4oz of liquor 😉). 🥃🥃🥃🙌🙌🙌 The whiskeys were very interesting and the malt used in the mashbills was definitely notified in the finish of the rye whiskey!

The silver whiskey was surprisingly easy to drink even tho it was a 50% ABV whiskey. There was a surprising popcorn aroma on the nose. The cask 111 had notes of caramel and cinnamon and the heat on it matched whiskeys of a few proof points lower than the 55.5% abv. One of my favorites was the batch 030, only available for purchase in store. It is their honey infused whiskey that comes in at 42.5% ABV. It was deceptively easy to drink and it had notes of chamomile on the nose. It would be very easy to make a hot toddy with it 💯💯💯

The rye 99 was also easy drinking and has a caramel and lemonyness to it. The finish on it was a little malty (to be expected bc there is malted barley in the mashbill).

It was a great experience and I highly recommend you stop here if you can!

Make sure to pickup a Tennessee Whiskey Trail Passport and get it stamped if you plan on going to the other whiskey...

Listed here while breaking up a long drive back to Florida. Wife wanted a brewery and I wanted Bourbon. She been slowing getting on board with doing more tastings. We stopped in last min and got on a tour. Over all the historical information about Tennessee liquor laws and bourbon were very well explained and interesting. The tour is informative but very short. You really just make 3 stops. Outside the distillery production area, (looking through windows), the basement barrel storage and then back up to the bar for a tasting. The tasting was at your pace and not really with any type of instruction or direction. Most tasting that I have been on normal instruct you as to find a way to get the best flavor notes of their whiskey. It was paired with some yummy chocolates, and our wrist band got us 10% off next door to buy more sweets. The bar tenders pour us 2 extra samples after our first 4. This provided us with their full range of products. This reviews is based on the experience and not the product, but I will say we left with 3 bottles. I recommend checking it out really the only reason it's not 5 stars is because the cost I think is a little high for 40 mins of history and the tasting should have provide more insight. Over all very good experience wish I could say 4.5 Stars. I'm normal quick to take picture unfortunately I did not...

Highly recommend their tour and tasting. Trinity was informative, down to earth, fun and I loved her deep knowledge of Tennessee history and bourbon. We had the last tour of the day - it was still highly informative, but Trinity made sure we had ample time for tasting and purchases and walking around the bar area before they closed. Caleb was also informative and friendly, without hovering. The 91 and 111 bourbons are delicious and I love that one of your tasting samples is an old fashioned made with their 91. It's a small distillery, which allowed us to see and enjoy all the awesome little details of the distillery space and the story behind how they engineered and built their space and how they uniquely store their barrels underground. Highly recommend - it has much more to offer than the touristy aspect you'll read about online or see on local billboards. They have a larger 2nd distillery location that we didn't have time to check out, but I would still choose the Market St. location again. Thanks for your Southern hospitality Trinity, Caleb and Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery! Definitely recommend choosing your time and purchasing your/tasting tickets ahead of...

"every Hour on the hour" a tour is given here at Chattanooga Whiskey. Seems like a lot of people know this as the tour group doubled moments before it started. To be safe I would order a ticket on the phone or get there about 20 min early. For $13 you get 4 drams of whiskey and 2 cocktails. I think I am being overly critical by only giving 4 stars but I would have liked an explanation about water vs ice vs neat. Taking a straw I added a little water to my offerings. The complexities of the whiskey were then able to shine. The tour is not overly long and you get ample time to drink a good amount of Alcohol. Attended by my wife, a non whiskey loving friend, and my 2 year old daughter we all enjoyed. The only rule with children is that if they get rowdy remove yourself from the group so the tour is not interrupted. While the information is interesting there is noting for a child or teenager to do other than sip water and kick rocks while you talk about the caramel notes present it a young but complex Tenn whiskey.
