I was really excited to try Feed and was really prompted to come by the reviews. For reference, We came on a Sunday afternoon, no wait and it wasn’t very busy throughout the restaurant. I’ll start with the positives then move on to why I’m only giving 2 stars.

  1. Our server was very kind and as attentive as he could be. It looked like the restaurant may’ve given him more than he could handle. He did great with his composure- anyone would’ve been overwhelmed.
  2. the chicken wings were out of this world good.. probably some of the best I ever had.
  3. Gluten free buns were very good! That’s hard to come across.

Some negatives:

  1. due to the server being overwhelmed, service was very slow. Not only were our drinks empty and saw no server for 30 min at a time, the surrounding tables had to yell out to passing servers for drink refills.
  2. our food took over an hour to come to the table from ordering, and that was after it took 30 min for our server to receive the order. We were there almost 2.5 hours, really cutting into our Sunday plans. We noticed it wasn’t just our table- it was a recurring theme with all the tables surrounding us and it was clear tensions were rising as food times were so slow.
  3. We were really excited to try the Brussels sprouts we heard so many good things about. We got them and they were cold and raw. It seemed like they char them in advanced then warm them up, maybe? The ends weren’t cut off properly and a lot of my Brussels sprouts were like eating wood chips. I couldn’t get past eating a few.
  4. I got the brunch beef and grits with poached egg on time. The meat was good, however the grits were cold and the poached egg wasn’t what a poached egg should be. It was also cold like it had been sitting and there was no runny egg. It was a hard yolk.
  5. my daughters butter noodles, the one thing that is near impossible to mess up, were hard like they’d been sitting under a lamp for 45 min.
  6. Due to all these food errors and lack of service, it was very hard to reach someone to complain to to rectify the situation. Truth be told we didn’t want to stress the server more by complaining.

This wasn’t the most expensive restaurant experience, but for $80 for two adults and 1 kid we expected to have a much more elevated experience. We own restaurants and have worked in restaurants in different capacities, so we understand the ins and outs however this experience could have been avoided all together with right systems in place. We were really...

Oh man--it is the day after and I'm still thinking about last night's dinner. My wife and I came super-hungry and this was our first date night in a while. We were seated right away at a table right up front that was private, but with a neat view of the kitchen. Every dish is inspected by the manager before going out and it's clear that they take pride in what they're serving. I am always looking for a smoked or roasted wing option, and their smoked wings were wonderful. I always remember when I can get wonderful wings that aren't fried, and this experience put Feed Co at the top of my list. I didn't have any sauce on them, but they brought me some samples to try. The Carolina Gold and the dust they use is wonderful. I'm glad they let me try them. My wife had some fried green tomatoes that looked great. She was happy. Next up, I had the fresh salmon with mashed potatoes and carrots--Oh man it was great. So fresh and wonderfully prepared. My wife had a spinach salad with grilled chicken that looked amazing. She has bad luck with salad and chicken quality sometimes--and it was so refreshing to have such a wonderfully cooked chicken breast off the grill with such fresh spinach and strawberries. Lastly, I wanted to say that I'm nearly 100 days into a sobriety journey and it is very helpful for me to be able to have non-alcoholic beer when I'm in a bar/restaurant/concert venue/etc...anything like that where a beer would normally be in my hand. I want to thank The Feed for carrying a non-alcoholic IPA option so nothing felt out of place and I could still have that experience. Thank you for carrying a few different kinds. Athletic Brewing Co has some amazing options as well if you wanted to add a handful to your can collection in the cooler. Anyways--I wanted to thank you for a great experience last night. I don't think we could have had a better experience or meal. Looking forward to my next visit for those smoked...

The teenage boy host who greeted my mother when she walked in to get a table for our party of 8 was one of the rudest hosts I've encountered in a very long time. Why have someone greeting guests who clearly hates his job and has an absolutely foul attitude? He'd do much better bussing tables, like ours needed, where 17 glasses were left behind by our server (along with other plates and items) when we got up to leave - I know this because I counted them. I paid a 20% forced gratuity for this subpar service by our server. Also, the food took forever. It too was subpar. The calamari took well over 20 minutes to hit the table, and it was undercooked and underseasoned. The potato soup had so many red bell peppers in it...weird and not good at all. The fried fish in my fish and chips was overcooked and filled with grease. Awful food for the price.... which after the forced 20% grat AND 3% credit card surcharge, was almost $300 for 8 people for LUNCH. Included 1 alcoholic bev and 2 apps - still outrageous. Maybe if the food was amazing, I wouldn't complain, but it was so, so far from that. In the women's bathroom, all 3 trashcans were overflowing mountains of paper towels and other feminine items onto the floor. No manager stopped by to ask about our experience... our server barely had time to serve us (and not well). 20% grat? So ridiculous. Most of the other reviews for this place are great 5 star reviews... maybe they are using their 3% surcharge to pay for good reviews? Bots? Not sure, but this is the widest credibility gap I have observed when comparing the Google Reviews of a restaurant to my actual experience. Stay away from here. This is a real and...

My recent visit to Feed Table and Tavern in Chattanooga was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by friendly staff and an inviting atmosphere. The industrial-style decor and lively music set the scene for a memorable dining experience. Each dish features fresh, high-quality ingredients that are skillfully prepared and bursting with flavor. We particularly enjoyed the following: 20 Hour Brisket French Dip: The tender, slow-cooked brisket was piled high on a toasted Niedlov's bun and paired perfectly with caramelized onions and a savory dipping sauce. FEED's Wagyu Smash Burger: This burger was a revelation! The two juicy wagyu patties were perfectly cooked and topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, and garlic aioli. The Niedlov's bun was toasted to perfection, providing the perfect balance of texture. Jalapeno Cheddar Hushpuppies: These little bites were a delightful surprise. The crispy exterior gave way to a fluffy interior with just the right amount of jalapeno heat and creamy cheddar cheese. Beyond the amazing food, the service at Feed Table and Tavern was exceptional. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and offering helpful recommendations. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, Feed Table and Tavern exceeded my expectations in every way. The delicious food, friendly service, and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-try for anyone visiting Chattanooga. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Chatt is one of our favorite cities to hit up when driving to my wife’s hometown. It was our first time at Feed. Co. and it certainly won’t be our last! Our first recommendation - the Brussels sprout and artichoke dip! 🤤 If you’re thinking to yourself, “Artichoke dip is ok”....get the dip!!! You won’t be disappointed. And if you are, then get your tastebuds checked. It comes with a boatload of pita bread which is nice because far too often restaurants portions of dip to bread is terrible. For our entrees, my wife ordered the tempeh reuben and I had the veggie melt. Both sandwiches came out fast, hot, and delicious! I’m really picky about grilled veggies and they did a great job of not making the zucchini and squash soggy. The spread was spot on and the bun it laid on was scrumptious! My wife’s reuben was HUGE and the taste was out of this world. We both opted for tots as our sides and they were nuggets of crispy perfection! The bartender was very generous with our pours so don’t hesitate to order from the drink menu. The restaurant itself had a laid back vibe. If you are just visiting for a drink, the bar is huge and can accommodate a large quantity of people. When weather permits, take advantage of their patio. Oh, and our server Sabrina was attentive and had excellent recommendations! All in all, it as a great experience and I’d definitely recommend to anyone!

Came to Chattanooga for work and someone recommended we try Feed Table and Tavern for dinner. It was soooooo good!! We tried the steak and it was so tender. Cooked perfectly. Hubby had it paired with the Brussels sprouts and they are just divine. I had the chicken penne and it was the best that I have had in a very long time. The absolute highlight of the meal though…. The strawberry roll. (Don’t remember the name just tell them you want the strawberry roll that makes you drool) Good lord have mercy. This was the perfect combination of Swiss cake roll (but wayyyyy better), cream cheese and whipped cream and the sweetest strawberries. (If you want to ship me some I’ll gladly take it 😊) Now overall experience:Absolutely 10 stars to our waitress Hunter. She was so nice and attentive. Checking in with us. Making small talk. Actually being a genuine person. Never let our drinks be empty. Giving us updates on our food timing. If management is reading this please trust me when I say this, she is a real asset to your company. From one business owner to another, cherish her. I travel a lot for work all over and wait staff as great as Hunter are few and far between. I highly recommend you give them a try if you are in the area. Or even plan a trip just to go and try it. You won’t be disappointed at all.
