I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the treatment I received from the security staff at the shoppes at chino hills. As a male who values genuine human interaction and is actively seeking to create meaningful connections, I was appalled by the cantankerous and frankly misandrist attitude displayed by one of the mall’s security guards.
Rather than fostering an environment of inclusivity and respect, the guard singled me out for simply engaging in polite, respectful conversation with others. His behavior was not only unnecessarily antagonistic but deeply insulting. I was followed, harassed, and treated as though my actions—approaching others with sincerity—were some kind of crime.
The pervasive misandry in this encounter was unmistakable. I was unfairly judged and ridiculed simply for being a man attempting to connect with people in a public space. This guard’s demeaning words and hostile demeanor reflected a bias that has no place in a setting intended to welcome all members of the community.
If the shoppes at chino hills is truly committed to being a safe and welcoming environment, I urge management to address the behavior of their security staff. This kind of harassment is unacceptable and contributes to an atmosphere of exclusion and hostility. I hope the mall takes appropriate action to ensure that no one else has to endure such...
Read moreI didn't know this area even existed. It is like a little town with shops hidden behind what appears at first to be only a strip mall, but as you continue through the parking lot, it turns into a small road that could be better described as a lane with 2 way traffic, and shoppes on both sides of the street. It looks a lot like Victoriia Gardens, a similar type of outdoor shopping center set up like a town located in Rancho Cucamunga, CA. The only reason I even found the Chino Hills Shoppes area was to pick up an online order from Lenscrafters, I will add that review later, and Google Maps led me to the store located off of Shoppes Lane and Grand Ave. In Chino. Now that I know this charming small-town type of vibe to an actually on the new side with a combination of large corporate store chains mixed with small independent businesses that includes restuarants, pubs, and retail shops along the streets throughout this downtown like shopping area. I'll be back for sure when I have more...
Read moreThe Shoppes at Chino Hills is a good hangout spot for after school and nice for dinner. I typically go with my friends for a nice evening dinner at Yard House or Wood Ranch then walk around and go into shops. Sometimes I will go with my mom to Barnes and Noble and spend hours sifting through books. I like the convenience of Trader Joe's being so close and on the main street of Chino Hills. Although the lines are long during corona virus times, they always have friendly staff. The help desk at The Shoppes is helpful and guides toward the correct stores and events. I like the free concerts and the drive-in movies. Although, they are competing with the Mission Tiki Drive-In, it would seem like a nice...
