Alice F. and Harris K. Weston Art Gallery — Attraction in Cincinnati

I love going to the Weston Art gallery. The facility is very flexible in the use of space to create unique exhibits. Many local artists are presented here in addition to national and international artists. I am always excited to see the current lobby display. The lobby with the glass doors and walls gives you a great view of the streets of Cincinnati and lets a lot of natural light in. Whenever possible I attend the gallery openings on Friday nights. It is a great way to connect with other art lovers and to enjoy some healthy but delicious food bites. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It is great that you can check out the exhibits when attending events at the Aronoff Center. I really like the current exhibit by Tom Bacher. His work is so much fun with both black light and natural light viewing....

This gallery is fantastic for so many reasons.

I first spent time here as a kid. They have a great summer program (I believe that it used to be free) where you spend a week or two getting to know the artists. Then, at the opening, you get to be a decentito and lead tours!

The opening are always lovely. They are free and open to the public. They provide finger food and a cash bar.

It's always modern art and usually features local artists. I love that it supports the art in our city!

I had a gnarly medical emergency. My class was doing a trip there, but when I arrived, I could barely stand up. I was begging for help when they redirected me to the restroom and made sure to give as many accommodations as they could. Offering me a comfy chair to sit in, water, a bucket to take with me in case I threw up, and wheeling me out in a wheelchair. This was all entirely unplanned as I thought it was just bad cramps. Thanks to them, I made it to the ER safely with my brother....
