Covered Bridge Shop — Local services in City of Frankenmuth

What a cool place. It's a gift shop with a bar! They have tons of gift options, and also have some Frankenmuth MI t-shirts and sweaters. They have cowboy hats, wallets, gloves, jewelry, and the cutest little trinkets. To my surprise I was walking through the shop and they have a little bar. I went on September 1st and they had their fall menu out. I had a spiked apple cider slushy. It was so good. I sat on their patio and sipped my drink it was so relaxing! The slushy is alcohol-free but you can add liquor to it. One thing that I thought was a little odd they didn't have any chocolate or sweets for sale. Tired after walking around auto fest and we walked into have cocktail inside at a table. Alex told us what the specials were after I asked. Then he proceeded to pour our drinks into “district” cups without even asking & I said $10 he said no I have to charge you .50 each for these cups which we didn’t even ask for. So he said he’d transfer it bs k which would ruin the taste of the drinks. I politely told him well you need to tell folks how much things are before you decide your gonna charge them and he decided to argue either way me that when he dies that people complain. Had he asked simply, “are these for here or to go” then that would have avoided all the mess. It’s not about the money just common courtesy!...

My boyfriend took me here on my birthday and bought me one of the floating charm necklaces. On mother's day, I took my mom here and bought her one as well. Today was her birthday and so while i bought her a charm for hers, she bought some for her twin sister's necklace. It's almost becoming a family tradition to come to the shop and buy charms for each others necklaces! The staff is always helpful and a delight to talk to, especially this morning, the lady that opened shop was fun and joyful. We'll certainly be visiting again to get more charms for...
