I had an incredible experience here last week. I swore to god I would have remembered their names, but I just can’t find the receipt. My wife and I shopped there on 9/16, around 4pm. I was on a mission to replace my 6 year old paint and grease stained jeans, which I do have a great emotional attachment with - my wife not as much.
The First Gentleman (was it Ian?!) greeted me, looked at my jeans, back at me, and said: “you are here shopping for some new jeans, aren’t you brother?” When he hit me with that “brother,” I nearly broke down. I felt seen, heard, and validated by this tall gentleman with a long, grey beard I can only dream of having one day.
If it weren’t for him and his introduction to the Business Discount Program, (Carousel City Woodworks and Carousel Guitar Company), I wouldn’t have found my new favorite pants. Forgot the model name, all i know is they are made with the same rip-stop material as my EMT/Paramedic cargo pants. He helped me try on 6 other pairs of pants even though I overheard from the dressing room a manager kindly remind him it was time for him to clock out for the day.
He introduced me to the young guy behind the counter, and we talked about heavy metal bands for a bit while he fussed with the laptop for me to enter my business info. He took genuine interest in my company, and I love talking about myself, so that was nice too. I’m sorry to have forgotten his name, but I appreciate what he brought to the experience. Again - super friendly and genuine!
I always wanted a pair of legitimate shop pants, and have never owned anything from Carhartt before, and these guys made the sale, as well as my day. Thank you to you both, and I’ll look forward to destroying these pants and buying...
Read moreThe customer service team at this Carhartt store has been the best customer service I’ve had in a decade. I work outside in construction up here in the northeast. But I was in need for specialized clothing for a new job working in Alaska. This store didn’t have my sizes for the outerwear that I needed. But trying on other clothing in my size got me narrowed down to what would actually work for me up in the great white north. The management team in this store is top notch. Zach is the one who took the lead and ordered the stuff online that I needed. Shipping directly to my house. He also helped me with my military discount for my order. He also asked about my service and jobs in the Army. He was very respectful and thanked me for my service. This entire customer service team is the reason that I will absolutely return to this store for my work clothing needs. There was a young man in customer service who greeted me when I walked in the store who directed me to the right customer service people within the store that made this an excellent experience. The Carhartt customer service team was absolutely fantastic. Thanks you for your service and patience with my...
Read moreI make a purposeful stop at this store when I'm in the area and was so disappointed with my recent visit. I live in Carhartt because of my career and there is truly no better workwear. But why is it so difficult to find women's clothing in store and not online?? This store is the ONLY place with a semi decent selection but the women's section is less than 25% of the entire store and the size selection is poor. I am an 8 petite- which is a pretty standard women's size. All the they have are regular and tall (no petite in store) and almost no options in 8 anyway. No shirts in a M. I appreciate that they offered to order me things in my size, but I want to try them on- that's the whole point of having a store. Everything seemed catered to the trendiness that Carhartt is becoming- not clothing for women who actually wear it to work. This Carhartt store is no longer better than TSC or Runnings when it comes to their...
