We absolutely adored our wedding experience at the Garner House. As Southern California natives, we aimed for a quintessential SoCal wedding, and the Garner House exceeded our expectations. The historical charm of the building adds a timeless elegance to the occasion, with meticulously maintained rooms offering a glimpse into the past. The cozy interior spaces provided ideal settings for our guests to gather, while the pristine outdoor courtyard boasted stunning Spanish architecture perfectly suited for our intimate event of around 90 guests.

The venue received countless compliments for its beauty, and its convenient location near the DoubleTree and Casa 425 was appreciated by many of our guests.

One of the standout advantages of the Garner House is its unbeatable price point. Renting the entire house for an afternoon at less than $2,500, which is also considered a tax-deductible donation, felt like an incredible deal. Additionally, the staff, including Shelly and Sonja, were incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout the planning process, promptly addressing all our questions and inquiries. They also provide a list of preferred vendors who are all incredible!

On the day of our event, the Garner House facilitated seamless logistics, allowing access to the venue two hours prior to the start of the event. They even permitted us to drop off items the day before, which was immensely helpful. The four-hour rental period, with a strict cut-off at 8:30 pm in accordance with Claremont city ordinance, was perfect for our ceremony and reception. Moreover, the timing allowed guests to continue the celebration at the bars in downtown Claremont, just a short walk away.

The limitation to beer and wine for alcoholic beverages suited our preferences perfectly, eliminating the need for additional expenses on other types of alcohol. Additionally, the option to rent an AV system, including speakers, a switchboard, microphone, and aux cord with an iPhone connector, simplified our music arrangements. We found it easier to hook up our computer to the aux and have a relative manage the playlist rather than hiring a DJ.

In summary, our experience at the Garner House was nothing short of magical. From its enchanting ambiance to its affordability and attentive staff, it provided the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable...
