Do not go to this salon unless you are looking for an escape room experience! Cara will not listen to what you want. This place deserves NEGATIVE stars!!

Cara charged me FULL PRICE for something I didn’t even ask for the first time. -I asked for VIBRANT red hair and she sent me home with black hair with a hint of red.- She told me she would fix it without ever telling me I had a week to come in...I told her that it would most likely be a month before I came in because I didn’t want to damage my hair.

I came in Saturday and she never told me that I was going to be charged ANYTHING for her to FIX MY HAIR! The only time we discussed a price was when she told me she does dreads for $60/hr. I gave her everything I had in my wallet and then she locked me in the store telling me that I could not leave until I gave her $360!!!!!! (What I found really strange was when I gave her her “tip” she asked me how much I was giving her, which a stylist has never done. Then after counting it proceeded to throw a fit telling me I was being disrespectful. Shouldn’t she have known how much I was giving her if that had been discussed) I obviously didn’t bring that with me thinking I was getting my hair fixed for free. I told her I’d be more than happy to give it to her in payments if she really feels her work deserves it but I didn’t have it on me. I unlocked the door and got in my car and she proceeded to chase me down the road.

This has brought up some PTSD and I can’t even believe someone would do something like that especially after I offered to give it in payments. I asked to speak to the owner and she wouldn’t even take my calls, saying she would only talk to me over email and then backing up her staff.

Now Cara is sending me messages adding, FLEE SATAN in all caps at the end, claiming she’s praying for me and calling Satan out of me...I don’t appreciate it to...

• EDIT At the time of this post there were no other reviews about Rocky, she has since had friends and family members make false reviews to boost the score for this salon** I had been going to this salon for nearly two months and was being styled by Rocky. I was satisfied with her work until May 6, 2016 when she was attempting to trim my hair with clippers and literally scalped a 3x3 area of my hair near my temple. She apologized and was able to mask the area but I was completely mortified as I am African American and my hair does not grown very fast. To add insult to injury she only took $10 for her mistake and asked me if I wanted to leave a tip( absolutely not) had she had taken 50% off of my style for her error I would have most likely came back but due to the price I realized she didn't value me as a client. Had she had considered the long term effects of charging me that price she may have realized that a consist an customer who tips 20-25% regularly would have been more beneficial than a customer who will NEVER RETURN AGAIN! I received a refund from the owner the following week after the service. She had the audacity to call me unprofessional when she replied to my review but, in her text messages to me she threatened that I had "better be there at noon" and stated that I was "abusing her again". How professional is that as the owner of a salon. I have since decided to forward all communications with her to the BBB even though this "business" isn't even accredited! Thank God and good riddance I'm glad to be done with...

This experience start to finish was fantastic! It started with plenty of parking and a very clean, cute and relaxing environment. Lauren is the only hair dresser I will let touch my hair because she is so good at what she does. I have chosen her over choices that are closer to where I live, she is always worth the commute from the Mountains. She has seen me through various stages of my life and many different hairstyles and hair colors. Every time I leave feeing pretty and refreshed. My hair is always exactly how I want it to look like at any given time through the years. She often knows what I want more than I do especially when I don't know how to explain it. She has also worked with my husband and helped him find his ideal hairstyle. My hair is always great but the best part is the conversations, infectious laughter and an amazing head massage! They also have lots of fun things for sale in the Salon! This is the perfect place to pamper yourself, ask...
