09/07/2024 - I have driven on High Street and have seen the “Current On High” by Janet Echelman (2023) a few times. Today was the first day I took the time to park my vehicle, and really look at this gigantic sculpture that has received mixed reviews. It is made of soft fiber braided with nylon, 229 feet in length, and weighing 714 lbs (wiki, 2024). I think it a masterful masterpiece. Bravo to the artist and congrats on having her artwork serve as functional art within the downtown area to bring her vision to life. Thank you.

I came across this art piece while walking around downtown Columbus with a few others. It made me feel a little bit like I was in some parts of Europe such as Vienna. The dolors of this one is unique and it was cool how they showed up all day long but even more so at night when dark.
