I proceeded to submit a rental application on June 15, 2023, for Tower No. 78 with Kaufman Development in the Leveque Tower. The application was accepted, and on June 18, 2023, I paid a $500.00 USD security deposit and uploaded a renter's insurance policy to secure the unit. My desired move-in date was June 23, 2023.

However, on June 20, 2023, a leasing agent told me my unit was unavailable and offered a more expensive 2-bedroom unit. After I informed them that unit was outside my budget, I was told my security deposit would be refunded. I declined this offer, and for the next ten days (or so), the leasing agent couldn't find a comparable unit for me. I was then offered a pricier unit available around two months after my initial move-in date, which I also declined.

As of August 9, 2023, I still don't have my desired unit (Tower No. 78), with the explanation provided being that of a last-minute transfer. I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office (available via the Ohio Public Records Act), where I detailed my experience and described allegations of "bait-and-switch" tactics being used.

In their response to my complaint, the Ohio Attorney General's Office mentioned that cases like mine are "often international in scope and criminal in nature." As part of my complaint, I asked for assistance and guidance in how to handle this matter, to which it was suggested the involvement of local law enforcement and the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).

I sought legal advice and was informed that the business conduct I experienced was improper. I'm sharing this review to inform others and possibly prevent them from facing the confusion, frustration, and loss of time I did with Kaufman Development LVQ Apartments.

The exterior of the gleaming building itself has been constructed and carried out masterfully. Appreciated by many locals and visitors alike. From everyday people driving by daily to those curious few who just have to take a closer look to the enthusiasts with an inquisitive nature or those who have an eye for detail. The intriguing allure of the shinning white facade is not easy thing to miss. The building itself, day or night, catches the eye and piques the curiosity of many. The striking Gothic design of the facade flows seamlessly from the facade to the interior. From the traditional revolving doors of the entrance. Passed the Security Desk and right which is remenecent of the likes of the classic feel of old world cathedrals akin to the likes of Notre Dame. Right up to the private elevators which lead to the residences. Well designed. Not your typical cookie cutter all the same plain places. No. Each unit is different than the next. And each is well thought out in design. By far the best places to call home in Columbus....

Manager is great. There was a major snafu with our celebration. They were devastated and exceptional in customer experience recovery to make it right. Very Good service overall and rooms. Great water pressure and showers. Great French toast and bacon! Food $$$$. Breakfast for two $84. We went for a celebration and knew the type of establishment so we weren't surprised. Some maybe. Not enough bellman persons for checkin service or luggage carts. The older gentleman Bellman is experienced and executes room entry well. But he's the only one. Valet prompt and friendly but Not attentive to opening car doors for female passengers. Good elevators..fast..Starbucks and ATM in lobby. Riverwalk for morning walk and run great. Scenic for pictures. Lots of benches. Hall of Justice fountain pool beautiful. Food places in walking distance. Pet friendly. Definitely will do again.
