Professional, safe, and fun. These are just a few of the words that describes one of the premier shooting ranges in the world. From the moment we walked in both my daughter and I were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. Chris one of the managers directed us to the check-in counter to fill out a few safety forms, which took only 5 minutes. Then we were issued very clean (almost brand new) eye and ear protection, and linked up with our instructor Jesse. I can’t say this enough truly an incredible experience. Both my daughter and I have shot before but it had been awhile. Jesse took us through very methodically and explained the mechanics of each weapon we would be firing and how we should be viewing our site picture. Jesse was beyond professional and his knowledge base coupled with his gregarious attitude made for a truly lifetime experience for my daughter and me. Even the music was spot on which further enhanced the experience. I paid extra to fire the 50 cal sniper rifle and it was worth every penny (total adrenaline rush). We took an Uber to get there from our hotel and after which the folks at Las Vegas Shooting Center got us a complimentary ride back. Truly First Class service all the way. So if you are looking for something fun and safe to do in Vegas that provides you an off the chart experience then Las Vegas Shooting Center is the place for you. Both my daughter and I are still pumped up a day later. Thanks again to the whole Team at Las Vegas Shooting Center. ...
Read moreFirst visit to Vegas from England and I thought it would be good to try firing a gun. In England we never see guns unless it's the police armed unit or the police at an airport so I wasn't sure what to expect. The Hat Trick package included an Uber pickup and drop back to our hotel (the Vdara). That was great and the team at the shooting centre were fabulous. Once checked in and provided our ID we were given the protective glasses and ear defenders. My Wife came through to watch and take photos. David was my guide and he was excellent throughout. I started with the Glock and OMG. When I first fired it the power and noise, even with the ear defenders on, was a surprise. Worked through the rounds which was good and moved on to the M4. Firstly I surprised by the weight, David explained a lot of it is composites and plastics, and it was actually quite easy to use. Lastly I had a go with the sniper rifle. Again, to me as a novice, I thought it was easier to use. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I'd highly recommend it if you want to just have the feeling and sensation of firing a gun. The staff are excellent, the facilities are clean, fresh and well maintained and we felt 100% safe...
Read moreThank you, JESS (and your ever-so-kind co-worker who so dutifully took all the videos for me) ... for an amazingly awesome and memorable first-time shooting experience!
I did not plan to go shooting. In fact, first thing I said when I walked into the bldg was ... 'I hate guns.' LOL! But ... I was curious. So, Jess kindly offered to just show me around. Talked me through the different kinds of guns they have, explained what the different bullets are for ... and patiently answered all my millions of questions.
I honestly didn't even think I would do any shooting. But Jess was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly (not pushy at all and happy to take the time to explain every single silly little thing I asked about) that my anxiety eventually dissipated.
Still can't believe I actually shot a pistol and machine gun ... and had a blast doing it! Yes, it was nerve-racking at first ... but Jess is a great teacher (and this comment comes from a teacher) so he really put me at ease.
All-in-all ... it was sooooo much fun! :-D
Highly recommend this place. Really. Such super helpful and friendly staff. Thank you all! I will def do this again next time I'm...
