UPDATE: Per the response below from the owner of the store - I sent my information on August 4th, no reply. Resent another email today. Still waiting for my full refund on the order I canceled (items never received) on June 30, 2020. The refund policy states - two to three weeks. Unacceptable! If you are considering purchasing items from Mattress Warehouse, Sleep Happens - please read my review and the others.
On June 20th, I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress and adjustable base from this Mattress Warehouse location. I was very specific with Glen Hoffman, Store Manager on which base I wanted to purchases with the mattress to ensure the longevity of the warranty. Glen was confident the mattress would be delivered within two days, until he submitted the transaction (due to the adjustable base), deliver time went from 2 days to 10 days. On the 9th day, a store employee calls me to tell me the base will not be available until July 10th. UNACCEPTABLE! I went back to this store location that evening to request a refund. During the process, it was disclosed Glen Hoffman ordered the cheap base, not the Tempur-Pedic base. Again, UNACCEPTABLE! Please note: the amount of this purchase was not cheap, over $4,500. The purpose of this review is to disclose: 1. the incorrect merchandise was ordered, and I believe if I were a male - that would not have happened. 2. When the refund was submitted, they were unable to give me any type of confirmation receipt or proof. And, unsure when the refund will be issued because there are only two employees working in the MD Corporate Office that can issue refunds. ...
Read moreMy experience in the store with Marshall was great. We were purchasing a new bed for an older lady in our church. Marshall was helpful and informed. The problem came on delivery day. Received the phone call saying when it would be delivered in the 3 hour window. Arrangements were made to be at the lady's home for delivery. Then the time kept changing, the only way i knew was by checking the tracker, no calls made to me. Called Marshall he said that delivery was third party and he could not contact them directly either. Finally, the bed was delivered (pass the 3 hour guaranteed window. Was told they would refund 50.00 for my time (my time is only with $16.00 per hr). This was 2/20/25. Tried find customer service number on Friday 3/14/25 to see where the $50.00 was. The number i found was for online orders and she said she could not do anything to help me. I called the store, and Marshall came to the rescue. Finally got a email that stated the $50.00 was being processed. Point is the left had does not know what the right hand is doing. The guys is the store are doing their jobs. even the delivery guys were during their, truck overloaded with delivery's. Read moreMy husband and I are relocating from NY to Mt Holly, NC in September and we decided to start shopping for a mattress. We went into Mattress Firm in Concord Mills. and when we entered the store there was a couple already there looking around. The gentleman behind the desk in the back of the store greeted us from afar. My husband and I sat down on some mattresses in the front of the store for about 5 min and the gentleman never approached us or said anything further to us. Therefore, my husband and I decided to leave and we found Mattress Warehouse in Concord Mills. As we entered the store we were pleasantly greeted by Larry. Larry not only pleasantly greeted us but he also approached us and asked us how can he help us. I knew I was in the right place! Larry was very courteous, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. Larry surpassed our expectations!!! I would highly recommend Mattress Warehouse to anyone who's shopping for mattresses because you will NOT be disappointed! Customer service means a lot to my husband and I.
