I honestly wish I could have stayed home to watch the movie. I've lived in many states & visited many movie theaters, including Regals before.
Unfortunately, this was the worst experience of them all. The theater was noticeablely small (theater 10, only 1 level). The seats were outdated & do not recline. (MAIN ISSUE) In theater #10, there's a weird noise coming from the air vent, I assume. It sounds like a constant machine running in the background with occasional low crackling noises, I guess similar to like an old TV static... This noise was ongoing throughout the entire movie. (There was only 5 people in the theater, so it was very noticeable.) The soda tasted like toliet water. I can't explain how, but it's like the soda taste, but it also tastes like the tap water that's mixed in needs to be filtered or maybe it's chemicals from the nozzles. I've had this happen at a restaurant in the past & it's definitely fixable. I cannot remember which was the resolution, but this needs to be taken care of. It is very off-putting!
I signed up for the Unlimited Pass right before walking into the theater with the assumption that I'd be back, but now I realize that I've...
Read moreI went to the 8pm Thursday premiere of the film Nope, which I was very much looking forward to seeing. Upon entering the theater (theater #9) I hear a blaring noise coming from up front. Since I was the only one in the theater, I got up to investigate, and found that it was an industrial size dehumidifier on full blast right behind the screen curtain. As I went to my seat, I'm immediately able to tell the the AC must not be working, as even the seats felt "sticky/damp." As the movie starts to play, I can tell this noise was going to be a problem. It was so loud that it was literally making some of the quiet dialogue hard to hear. Since I was still the only person in the theater, I discreetly called the theater and told an employee the situation. He said he would address it, but no one ever came in to turn it off. I love movies, I love the theater experience, I'm a subscriber to Regal Unlimited, and have been to this theater (and others) hundreds of times. I'm not kidding when I say this was the worst theatrical experience of my entire life. Simply unacceptable to have a movie playing in these conditions. I really hope I never have this type of experience again when I return to...
Read more** I have been coming to this theater for 30+ years now and I can safely say: if you're going to spend the money to go see a movie then your money's better spent going to the competitor's theater (the theater near the mall... Won't say its name! 😁😉)!
** Regal Cinemas is about the same ticket prices as "them" , but Regal's concession prices are higher. Regal's free (paid options available) rewards program is quite good in that you earn points a lot faster and the points are good for better items.
** The seating at Regal is horrible compared to the competitors seats. There is no way rocking seats are going to beat motorized automatic push button reclining leather seats (the competitor's)!! Also, Regal has regular theater seating, whereas the competitor has stadium seating and even reserved seating!
** Another issue with this ts a cleanliness issue. It seems the floors are always dirty and sticky no matter what time of day it is!!
** I guess at this point coming to this theater is more of a nostalgic, sentimental thing. It reminds me of the one thing my father and I used to do once a week. I rarely saw him because he was a Neurosurgeon and he was gone all...
