Petsmart is a good place to go for pet resources, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase animals from a petsmart(unless there's an adoption event through a rescue). There are a wide variety of products from leash accessories, toys, cat towers, reptile set ups, food, etc. I'd recommend to be educated in what brand of food will be best for your pet before coming into the store, because the options can be overwhelming. There are unbiased food review sites that you can search nutritional facts about different brands or you could ask a pet nutritionist/or vet what's best for your individual animal. I would highly recommend to be educated in all aspects of the type of animal your are trying to adopt before going to any store to purchase their set up or supplies. Many times pet smart may not have the most educated employees, to be able to help you really understand what's going into having this new pet. Petsmart enables impulse purchases of animals with minimal knowledge for the new owner. You should put in hours to days of research to find what pet suits you and how to get ready for it/ take care of it. Pet smart animals have a history of abuse, having diseases or sicknesses and not having the best temperament for a pet. Pets from reputable breeders have better health and temperament. (Cats & dogs can also be found at recuses). Inside this petsmart is also a vets office, but I haven't used them in order to give a review. Petsmart has a loyalty type program to help you save a little here and there. All in all, this is a good store to use for pet resources if you're educated beforehand in what you need. Never try any medications/product that your vet hasn't approved for your animal. A simple call to the vet can help you determine what's safe! Animals are allowed in the store and they also have a grooming section you can book services for. Make sure your animals paws / feet are covered or they are carried in when the parking...

Read moreBaxter and I really love going there and Baxter loves to get groomed there but we seem to have a conflict of understanding what a pet goes for grooming for and what PetSmart wants from their client that owns their pet to do and being able to have their pet groomed, so that to me places an emphasis on spending hundreds of dollars just to get your pet groomed and I mean by grooming just a wash and a dry and they've done it two and three times and now they won't do it unless I spend hundreds of dollars to prove that Baxter it's healthy, and by the way, Baxter's current with all of his shots and his boosters so he is very healthy, it just goes to show you how a company can overlook personal touch and...
